Fruit is loaded with carbs. Wouldn't it be unwise to eat that much if you're trying to lose weight?

I don't know much about this, but my understanding is that eating lean proteins, vegetables (not fruit), and plenty of exercise are the best way to lose weight.

You are exactly right but he only eats Fruit in the morning and 1 Meal at night. Thats just terrible.

One huge thing to do to lose weight is simply cutting out soft drinks. Totally cutting them out. They have so MUCH sugar in them that it's truly unreal. Cut out soft drinks and walk. Those two things will help to drop ten pounds in a month or two.
Not to get off the original thread subject but the soda thing is an absolute fact. I personally stopped drinking soda about 2 or 3 years ago and never looked back. I have on occassion drank 7UP and the DrPepper 10 is not bad. I spoke with a semi truck driver once who stopped drinking soda and he lost 50 lbs in a year. A lot of poeple dont realize how much they can benefit from giving up small things like that.

Man you take this serious don't you?

Of course I do, as should you.

Like I said 4 years ago I had a problem with my weight. I enjoy helping people do it the right way and when I see someone saying they eat 3lbs of fruit and 1 meal a day I feel I need to say something. If someone that was severely over weight read this and tried it, it could be a serious risk to their health..

Sorry if I come off strong about the subject.

I agree with you Plshrk.
Fruit is good for your diet.
There are certain fruit or juice fasts that one can do that will clean your colon out. I believe that one could benefit from that.

Years ago, I worked with a young foot ball player, He was considerably over weight.

The first part of his diet was eating healthy and small portions of salad, fruit etc. once a week he was allowed to eat some pizza or wings.

The second part of his diet consisted of high protein.

Whatever he did, it worked. He was a solid 300 lbs of brick wall.
