He posted on his Facebook it was ten ball race to 9. Won the lag, ran 4, broke and pushed out, his opponent missed, ran out. Broke, played safe, got control of table and ran out, them ran out three more for the set. Something like that anyways.
Watched a match in the 9 Ball US Open where the guy who lost shot 1000. I forgot who it was buy both players shot 1000 from what I remember, it was a couple years ago. I believe he was playing against Mika the year he won it.
I hope someone else will clue us in to who was the other person besides Mika. That is a unique set of stats.

He might be thinking of when Corey skunked Mika. I don't know if that was a 1K set or not.??

I don't think Corey shot 1k that match if it's the one I'm thinking of where Corey shoots that incredible draw shot on the 4 to get down table for the 5.
I remember when that whole match used to be on YT, and Corey dogged a simple 9 in the rack.

For the longest time Wade Crane had the only perfect accu-stat match recorded when he doubled dipped Buddy in one of them old 25k 1st place tourney's years ago..the double dipping made it really strong cuz it's doing it 2 sets in a row...I miss old Wade !!!

Not sure but I think you might be thinking of Jason Klatt.
Couple years ago he runs like a 7 pack and losses at the US Open.
Don't think he shot 1000 but he might have been p,aging Mika.

It was Jason Klatt against Mika and as I remember the only thing he did wrong was break dry one rack.

He made 1 stinkin position error and had to play safe. Mika won that rack so it counted as an error. Was a gr8 match.
The "famous" Immonen/Klatt match was at the 2010 US Open. It was won 11-4 by Mika. Their Accu-Stats Total Performance Averages were .990 (Mika) and .972 (Jason).
Mika started with a 6-pack, then broke dry in Game 7. (Score 6-0)
Klatt won Game 7 in his second inning of the game. Klatt broke and ran the next 3, then broke dry in Game 11. (6-4)
Mika won Game 11 after his safe and Jason's kick. Mika broke and ran the last 4 games. (11-4)
So -- 13 B&R's in 15 games! The match had no misses (except a jump shot by Mika in Game 7, which hit the OB and probably did not count as an error), but I think they each had a position error or a safety error.
