SVB vs. Alex P Final Day

Alex breaks dry,

Leaves the one in the pocket.

Jay's starting to harp on Shane again... any time Alex plays good, Jay blames Shane playing bad, but he's really NOT playing bad.

Shane finishes the run to get seven games from taking it.

93-81

I don't mind saying that I don't like Jay's commentary. I just don't, i'm sorry.

Shane breaks two balls

He's jacked up on the CB for the one.

He tries to jack up and draw off the one and rattles and gives Alex a good shot.

Alex overshoots shape on the two and slaps the table in frustration.

He cuts it in and scratches in the side and catches the ball and tosses it on the table in frustration.

Shane draws back with perfect shape on the five.

Shane finishes the run to get five games away.

95-81.

They ought to put in rules, you slap your cue on the table it cost you 3 games, throw cue ball down on table (bouncing it) 5 game penalty. I can't stand temper tantrums, be professional

We will see if you feel the same way when you are a "professional" and playing under the pressure that professionals play under.

Maybe releasing tension the way that they do is professional.

Shane breaks two balls

Shane gets a bad roll and no open shot on the one, he'll have to safety here.

He pushes out to a different position.

Shane gets it handed back and attempts a safe.

he leaves a window and Alex makes a long shot on the one and gets shape on the two.

Alex gets out to get to the number I estimated at the break 82.

82-96

I agree! Whether you played poorly, or just got beat by better play, there is no excuse for abusing equipment...by an amateur or professional player, imo. I have been unable to watch this match (with the exception of a few hours Friday night), but I can't remember ever seeing, or hearing about Shane abusing equipment...even when losing.

Your post makes it obvious that you've never played a high dollar gambling match or was bout to get in the money of a big tourney...Earl antics = no way but what you talking bout is kinda funny.

it just depends on the circumstances I reckon.

Alex breaks

Aright guys I can't wait any longer, gotta go do my mid term.

SRV just started again so I anticipate a relatively quick ending to the night.

Whatever, people ack however you let them, slapping their stick against the table and throwing the cue ball is bull. Have more respect for the equipment and the game. You have the right to feel however you want, I don't allow that behavior at my events

To me Shane looks like the textbook perfect player. IF he focused on every shot then Alex would be even farther down. Alex has so MUCH creativity and ability but he is just wild where Shane is steady.

This is a DANGEROUS time for Shane though. Let Alex win some games and get Shane frustrated and we could see a repeat comeback.

97:82 Shane

Alex jsut dogged a shot after Shane left him wide open. Shane runs out to get with 3.
