I am one of the guilty parties who has in the past given pretty extensive updates. I am coming to the conclusion that it might be better to only give a few updates since the the ppv sales have not be so great.I am not sure if people are declining to buy the PPV because they are getting updates on AZB,. My instincts and experience in online marketing (which I have a bit of a background in) tell me that keeping the product in front of potential buyers is the best way to create sales and buzz ..but nonetheless I dont think I will be posting as many updates.

TAR is doing a great thing for pool here and I would encourage everyone to buy their PPV or dvds.

Hey Derek,i appreciate your offer but im not sure 10 will be enough my friend,15 is probably where its at,i mean if Earl is down he is going to be down,he kicks himself best when he is like that. :D

You got a bet at 15. I have the match comming to me free since the danny/john match went out. I work all night thursday, then I think i might go down and watch on friday or sat, so Ill see if I can have that credit switched over to you if you wanna watch?

Shane 100 - Earl 81. It's a good match, closer than people thought it would be. Earl tries hard, even leading early on, but finally succumbs to Shane's superior play in the end. The score is close at the mid point and even at 60 and 70, before Shane pulls away on the final day.

This is how I handicap this match to play out. Let's see if I'm even close.

Wouldn't it be something to see a flashback of the 1990's Earl? Admittedly, I'm not old enough to have seen many of the older players in their respective heydays but, bar none, Earl had the best break I have ever seen when he was in his prime. I don't care if <insert player's name here> hits them harder than Earl or not. He consistently hit the one ball more square, and got more action out of the rack, than anyone I have ever seen.

u always do a good job with the updates, when u haven't updated in awhile i try and throw some in here or there, i was waiting to see how the gabe/chris match went b4 i bought it and as long as it seemed like it was gonna last awhile i was gonna get it, i got it and tried to only update when the score was even or close to it figuring more would buy then, with the 2nd tarc maybe do updates every half hour or so, or whenever the score is pretty close would also be a good time to update

If anyone is up to put in a sweat bet I will take take Earl with 25 games on the wire, or 5:1 odds. I think that's more than fair. 25 on the wire would mean he wins more games than Corey won.
I'd rather take the 25 on the wire, because I don't think Earl can really win the thing, but if anyone wants to give 5:1 I might take it.

PM me about it. I'll make bets from $20 - $100. Nothing big. We can escrow the money unless it's someone that I trust and who trusts me.
 
it might be a silly question, but the game will start at 7:30 EST right? But i'm not extremly sure of EST. what GMT+ or - is it? Thanks

Everything a Go?

I plan on driving(2 1/2 hrs.)to the match this afternoon and want to make sure it's going off and that I'll be able to get a good seat. Can I call ahead for ticket?
