Well buddy why would I say I think I have a Gus Szamboti if I really thought I had a Gus Szamboti?.I acquired this cue from a person who had a vast collection of collectible cues which included Balabuska,Ginacue,Tad,Southwest,Richard Black,Ed prewitt,Palmer,Rambow,Paradise,Corsair,Etc..I've shown this cue as a Gus Szamboti to many knowledgeable people over the years and no one ever told me to question it.So I'm not trying to fool anyone.I proudly presented this cue as I thought it was and not what I wanted someone to believe it was.Have you ever shot with a Gus Szamboti?Well I can tell you how this cue hits. Its a steel jointed cue that doesn't feel like a steel jointed cue.If you were to blindfold someone and let them shoot with it he or she would find it hard to believe it was a steel jointed cue.And well balanced also, so much so, its hard to tell the weight when holding it at times. That's the best way I can describe the hit and feel of this cue so maybe someone out there with a "real"Szamboti can tell me what it should feel like. Btw where do you live?I would still love for you to come out here and hit with this cue.I guarantee you will have no more negative things to say about this cue again Szamboti or no Szamboti. And bring your best hitting piece of lumber with you too.It should be fun.haha
