Trying some different photo concepts and looking for opinions: good, bad or indifferent.

The top photo is what I typically use, the next two are variations on the theme.

#3 shows everything,the cue is terrific I have had several Gus cues and sold them all ,only to regret it later,so I suggest you keep this cue for the long long haul.

I think this would be very collectible because no one has anything like it.They may have one or 2 or even half a dozen that they like better,but nothing like this or close to it.
Thats why I like theme cues.I! applaud your choice

i think you are one of the top photographers and designers of pics with cues, and i always liked your cue collages.
I still like the number one, but for me number three looks a touch nicer. :thumbup:
I realy like the style when the cues are in different directions and maybe a bigger pic in the back, like Jamie (worminator) is doing it, too.
And let me congrat you on your designs for CUEZILLA - the collages are awesome :eek::grin-square:
Good luck with your decision - it´s a hard one i think.

#3 has all of the angles, and more visual interest than the others. It's not so linear. What kind of camera are you using?

I like the variety in #3 as well. For these professional level displays I always like to see...
Full length pic of the butt for scale.
A view of the butt that doesn't require turning your head all the way to the side to "set it right".
An angle found that lets the wood depth light up.

~Not that I'm capable of this kind of photog with my lacking skills~

P.S. your pictures looks like one of those cues calender pictures.

I go weak at the knees every time I see this cue. I also kick myself for not buying it when I had the opportunity. I don't suppose the current price is anything like what Barry sold it for all those years ago?? :grin-square::grin-square::grin-square: If it is, give me a call :smile:

The cue is in my personal collection but I'll always entertain offers.
 
Wow, and I will say it again Wow. I think the third pic is the one that best illustrates the cue. But don't take my oppinion, I am just a sucker for ebony and ivory.
