this was a awesome piece that the owners dad bought it new and played with it then put it away!! and when he passed his son offered it up to a few people and we were the lucky ones to get this piece of history!

i do not recall ever seeing one with a maple rear end,you are somewhat of a lucky stiff

Andy was great!

He loved that cue. No telling how many he had. He was partner owner operator of Starcade Billiards in Fort Walton Beach. I have seen that cue many years. I believe that was one of the only cues his son kept.
Andy was loved by all and to this day the Starcade still host the best tournaments for players that I have ever been to. His partner Robin still puts on the best tournaments. If you call there Robin will be more than likely very happy to answer any questions.

the guy that owned this cue drew up the design and had gus build the cue, and if i am not mistaken, two of the shafts have never been chalked. the owner was a personal friend of mine, so i gave him the introduction to gus to have the cue built. i can vouch for the authenticity and history of the cue.
good luck with the sale

Great cue! These are the best ones to collect for future appreciation, cues with documented history.

Amazing find!

Hope you include nice photos of it in the 2008 calendar... which I am eagerly waiting to buy......
