Great collection. Did you recently do any remodeling work for Bill Grassley? :D :D :D Oh, I forgot, he said that the ones stolen were under $10,000 each. My bad. You truly have some of the nicest cues I have ever seen.

On a side note:

Ifthey are stored offsite, can you purchase insurance for their actual replacement value? Also, I would make sure that the storage facility doesn't have a limit on value of a unit topped off by their insurance carrier. Not unlike some delivery services that will "sell" you insurance to a specific value, but then cap off the claim when loss occurs regardless of the amount of coverage you paid for. You think you are getting more than you actually are. I know in general for a homeowners policy you have to purchase a rider for collectibles, as most tap out the coverage at about $5000. The riders are based on appraised value (or less if you choose), and are quite expensive. You also have to keep a current inventory and formal written appraisals for each cue.

Then if you have a loss you have to actually prove the value to a claims adjuster, which may be a whole other ballgame.

I have had insurance for about 5 years now. It is a seperate rider under my homeowners policy, but they are covered at the unit as well. I had to give apraisels and pictures, but they are covered for the dolar value I listed them at. And yes it is expensive. I am in the middle of updating that coverage to include everything else that I didnt have before......
When I told them about the move to the storage, they had to aprove the location and facilitys before they would issue a location change of the coverage..

secured well enough?

i know of a room that has some cues on display. they are in a cabinet behind glass but come on; a balabuska, two or three gus', two or three barry's, some mcdaniels and some more on one side of the case. i don't remember what was on the other side of the case but you all can understand why, right?! anyway, a smash and grab could possibly get out with 20k of cue in a run. think i will drop this guy a note. sure would hate to see any more cues gone.

63 cues on the table(I think). Those are sick. You should be ashamed to have all those. if you want you can send me a few just so you dont feel so bad about having all those.:)

Nice collection!

I am one of the ones who may have 15-20 posted here and there, but even with ADT, cameras, and big gun safes I stay too skeerd to post a big group together.

Keep up the Great work and stay safe.

It is a pain in the ars to go get them out whenever...and bring them back....but the piece of mind I get from not having them here, is worth the hassle.

When Fatboy comes over, it will be worth the trip to the storage unit.....like it would for any other visitors......after all I get my son and son inlaw to do most of the work....LOL
Steve
That's very smart on your part. Your cues are not replaceable, if you had a theft and if insurance paid you for the cues how could you ever get them replaced! Your cues are works of art and most of them are 1 of 1 and worth any hassle to protect them.

Came across this and wanted people who hadnt seen it before to view it. This is one of the sickest pics I have ever seen.

You know how people put "lol" in a post, but they probably didn't actually laugh out loud? My exact words, sitting alone at my desk when I opened this thread were "holy shit". Out loud, by the way.

It was truly a "holy shit" moment. Thanks for that; such moments become more and more rare as time goes by...

So what do you do for a hobby?

Um....I cover pool tables.....

If I ever have that many cues please, please, please do not tell my wife.

I am honestly speechless. I looked at those pics for an hour trying to find a cue I did not like, and couldn't do it.

Steve, if you ever need a kidney, or lung, or any other vital organ, I'm your man. I only want one of those awesome Boar's in return!

You are a very blessed individual, and in return, you give us all a piece of that blessing by being hospitable enough to share your treasures. In all sincerity, you have my deepest gratitude. Thank you!
