I had some Diamond table deliveries to Northern CA and I decided to take on a job that I normally do in the comforts of my shop. So I loaded up my shop tools and tried it on the road. It ended up going really smooth, but there's was the constant stress of forgetting a tool that can't be purchased at home depot. Here's some pictures.

I tighteded the pockets, new cushions, relevel, new cloth and final assembly.

What do you use on those joints and rough spots as a filler... vinyl cement or??

Beautiful work but you couldn't talk the guy out of painting his metal green! LOL. That's pretty weird looking.

What's the advantage of tucking the cloth under the slate like that? Can you retighten the cloth that way?
 
Absolutely top notch work. I like the green painted surfaces and think they're a nice touch that sets off the table. The two Gandy's you did for us here at "The Canyon" are still playing great.

I play at Danny's from time to time, I'm only ranked 2A, which means I'm usually getting my butt kicked over there.

Cosmetic on a ball return table. If It was a drop pocket then there no chance of cutting your hand on a staple when reaching for balls. When you look at the final pictures and look into the pocket you will notice no staples, no cut cloth, no wood, Just cloth.

I use Glen Hancock's method for pulling cloth and there's no reason to have to restretch it. The pictures will show the workmanship and pride I take in my work, but what it doesn't show is how tight the cloth is and how true the table rolls or plays.

2A in Wayne's system? or Fernie's system? I went from 2A to 5A when systems changed. THAT AIN'T RIGHT. It's a rating 'bubble'. Overly inflated.

Sounds like you stay too busy to play much. That'll work. Keep it going.

I don't play much these days. Stuck w/wrong rating.

We played in Tues night league at same time I believe. 3-4 years ago?
