That speaks for me too. I buy all the matches and I've been waiting for this one. They are scheduled to start at 9:00 PM EST but it will be delayed if Alex is still playing in the World Pool Masters, and it looks like he will be. I'm hearing everywhere that Alex is on top of his game and has been taking SVB off at night. My point is that I can only watch till 11 EST, so I'll want to know if I buy the match PPV can I get a discount on the DVD ? I want to support TAR but this is getting EXPENSIVE :D ...Tom

I heard 6pm but that was not from TAR so I would really like it if TAR could give us a for sure time cause since they are putting this on they would know best. So TAR if you are out there please let us know what time Shane and Alex is set to go off and what time the link will be up for PPV. Thank guys

time

it will be late tonight vegas time. i just made a tar update post. details there.

kinda off topic, but as a businessman and knowing what I know about TAR(which I will keep private-all good stuff) the next 12 months is the critical time for them. They definatily have the best of it right now and I am 90% sure they will make it and be a very long term fixture in the pool scene bringing pool into the homes of alot of people for many years to come. They will be the best thing to happen to pool in many many years. They are on the hill and shooting-in pool speak. I know we awalys say we need to support TAR and its NOW more important than ever, they are about to turn the corner and become a instutition. I'm so happy for Chad and Justin and their other boys. Their hard work has paid off-I can see it. Having just lost my biz after 11+ years it feels good to see some people I care about come up and make it.

Their dedication, work ethic and passion is the key to success. They have it all going for them. And to repete it again its on our shoulders to be there for them. So in 5 years from now we will have a reliable access to pool from the best of the best. Their commetators are great except me-I tried and was terrrible, I'll give it a go again some time-late night to spare the audience. I have given it some thought and will be better-I hope :o .

just my thoughts today, i'm depressed and am speaking from the heart.

did I ever mention to you that I like you avairtr, there is a close second here butt ;) your still in first place.

TAR is giving us the opportunity for those of us not able to be in Vegas to see this great match. Considering the hotel room goes for over a $100 a day and the gas or plane is costly we are already getting a great bang for our buck. Cost for TAR to do this is sky high. What with Chad having to drive halfway cross the country with the equipment and Justin having to fly in early having to pay for hotel rooms I think we are already discounted. I guess you could do like some who buy the feed collectively.

Reposted from another thread:

The last round of the World Pool Masters starts at 7 PM Pacific. There are 2 semi final matches and the finals. They are playing race to 8 winner breaks with a shot clock. I do not know which of the semi final matches Alex is playing in, the first or second one. I am guessing if he loses his first match we will start around 9 or 10 Vegas time. If he wins the World Pool Masters event I have a feeling we may not get started till 11 or midnight depending on how long Match Room keeps him for interviews and press.

This is not a perfect situation but it is what we have to work with and we will make the best of it. I have a feeling this match will be worth all trouble.

The link is up now to purchase the Pay Per View on www.theactionreport.com

We will start a free pre match show on our home page at 8 PM Eastern.

Sorry for the confusion on start times but we are at the mercy of conditions outside of our control.

Well I already have mine paid.. although it's going to be so late here on the east coast I wont get to watch tonight.

What time are they set to go off tomorrow night and the following night?

Thanks,
Chris

kick off is when Alex gets done with the world's according to Chad, he just told me right now on the phone.

i just saw on the site for Ustream that the match might not start until like 2am ET . i guess i am not gonna see it, hopefully they make some dvd's of it!

Pagulayan Marches to Championship Match

ALEX is first guy to the FINAL ..waiting for his apponent KO/MIKA....GO ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex and Mika are playing the finals now. We are shooting for a start time of 11:15 PM Pacific / 2 AM Eastern.

Monday and Tuesday will start at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern

I bet on Shane, so naturally I'm rooting for him. I could take advantage of this situation and try to place more bets. I think it is unfair to Alex to have to start this match (and play a long race), right after battling to the Finals of the Masters. He will be tired, mentally and physically.

If I were TAR (and I'm not), I would give him the option of starting tonight or waiting until tomorrow (even if they played two days of Races To Fifty). Of course if Alex says he wants to go, then by all means do it! I will always err on the side of the players, and seeing the best match possible. I think Alex has to experience a letdown after the Masters Finals is over, win or lose.

Like I said, I could have jumped on this situation and tried to make several first round bets, but I can't do that in conscience.

Once again, I think what the TAR guys are doing is great, but sometimes you have to make a decision based on an unexpected situation that may arise. I am just making an observation here, but it's up to them to handle it wisely and prudently.
