Does this work with the new 3G iPhones only and do you know what it is listed as in iTunes, it won't direct me there from the site provided. Thanks Spiderwebcomm.
Ps, I'm on 2.0 2G iPhone

As the app uses wi-fi and not the cell network for data, the model of phone shouldn't matter.

If the link in the article isn't firing up iTunes for you, just open iTunes, go to the app store, do a search on 'ustream'.

Edit: Just got the app up and running. Watching a stream of today's post-inauguration luncheon - got the TV on as well, and the stream, though a bit jerky, is pretty good considering. And it's only a few seconds behind what's on cable. Pretty slick!

Thanks ScottW, I'm going to go that route you mentioned. For the pool related portion of this post, will we be able to watch ontherailtv matches and other pool tournaments? Hopefully! Ron

That's how I'm gonna sweat some TAR. I haven't tested it yet.

No matter where i'm at...i'm gonna be on my phone sweating.

Well, I dunno if this app is set up to handle PPV streams or not. Doesn't appear to be.

I'm going to download this tonight and play with it. If we can get an Internet connection going in the AZ/OP room at the DCC, I'll try to stream some content.

Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!

Doin' the Happy Dance! It's good to be an iPhone gangsta! LOL

:happydance:

What's to be done about the two year contract I have with US Cellular?

Well, all those contracts have early-termination fees (usually somewhere around $150 or so, depending). You can choose to break the contract and cough up the penalty, if you're so inclined. Or, you can wait it out. It largely depends on what you really want to do and what you can afford (time or money). *shrug*
