Mark Griffin is back this week to discuss the feedback from last weeks show and we will be announcing the details of TAR 23 as well as discussing other hot topics in the pool world. We will try to involve the chat more this time and keep things on a little tighter format with less tangents and rambling.

If anyone has a topic or question they would like either or both of us to address please post it up. If you have an idea for a topic we would love to hear it. Hope you join us this Wednesday at 9pm Eastern on theactionreport.com

Our plan was to do these on Thursdays but due to scheduling conflicts we had to move to Wednesday. I suspect that the podcast schedule like everything else in pool will have to be flexible. We are just going to roll with it and see how it goes.

I would be interested in knowing if Mark could see possibly doing a professional 8-ball tournament on proper tight 9-foot tables like the Fatboy railed Diamond you have and seeing how that game plays out for the pros in a race to 9 double elim format. Both from a competition standpoint for the pros and from a fan reaction/interest standpoint.

I'll certainly ask him that. I already have the answer of course but we'll see if he gets it right.

:D

I know Mark has been talking about it already, but can he go over again, the details of the BCA Nationals move to the Rio? Maybe Mark can give some details about how the layout is gonna be? Where are the tourney rooms, etc?

I suppose I could ask you this question, in person, too :p

JCIN,

I loved last week's podcast and am really looking forward to listening to this week's.

Have you thought about making the audio from the podcasts available for download on your website? Kind of like a traditional podcast?

The audio only version in mp3 format is available here: http://theactionreport.com/downloads/podcasts/

Just right click on the file and save as.

I'll be putting the video version on Youtube and the audio version there until I can figure out if I can get it listed on itunes podcast list.

I'd like to hear more discussion about trying to increase corporate sponsorship (instead of relying on "angel investors"). THX.

Gettng home way too late tonight to catch this live. How soon will it be made available for view on Youtube?

There has been obviously a lot of heated chat on the Mosconi Cup. I would liketo hear what they both think of it all. I am pretty sure I know the answer. I hate to see such a great event tainted by all the hate and I hope that Matchroom don't take it too personally.

If anyone who reads this thread has not seen the TAR You Tube channel, run, don't walk to catch it: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheActionReport

What I was thinking exactly Holly. While there, "subscribe" so you will get an email notification when new videos have been posted.

Justin & Mark: Love what you guys are bringing to the "table" with this concept! The "Feltnation" being informed about what's going on and what's about to happen in real time and you getting direct input from your audience is the absolute nutz! The TAR Studio and Podcast conjugation is a win-win for us all!

Feltnation: When announcements like these are made, let's all do our part by getting the word out to all our friends and acquaintances via Twitter, Facebook, forums, etc. and help promote and introduce new people to our SPORT.

Great to see you guys bringing ideas to the podcasts and keeping people talking about the issues.

My idea is this.....before TAR 22 is there any chance of having a quick undercard match of some type to get things going? Something fun, or on the lighter side. It could be a gaff bet on a shot or two, or a couple of young guns battling a quick set, or Earl vs SVB opposite handed? :) I dunno....a lead up of sorts to get everyone psyched.

Thanks for what you guys do....

Gerry
