After a long break the man from Alaska and myself are back this Thursday. We should have a few things to talk about. One big one is the next TAR match which we will announce Thursday.

If anyone has any topic suggestions Mark do love his feedback. Or feed forward. Whatever that would be. Just throw them up here.

I hope anyone who has time can join us live this Thursday at www.theactionreport.com. The podcast will be on YouTube Friday for viewing anytime.
 
Can Mark spend the whole hour telling Alaska stories?...just kidding. I'd kind of like to hear what you guys have been up to since the last podcast, why the longer than normal layoff, and have you given any thought of putting 4 1/8" pocket rails back on the TAR table for any future matchups? I don't really want to turn this thread down that long road again, but I was thinking the other day how much I liked those matches. I think it'd be good for an all around that included 8 ball.
 
I would like to see me and Cleary have a drinking contest on tar and I would also like to see chip Compton have a sit down and answer questions with mark griffin... Jk fellows..
Glad to see yall back in the saddle. We will be on the road playing for once but I will tune in and watch..when I'm not letting someone talk me into layin the 10-4 on the craps table..ha ha yall have fun..Good luck

Can you tell us if you can or why you can't etc have some action with young guys like hall, bergman, chip, joey, etc? I would love to see some of these guys play on tar. I am sure it has to do with if it will sell or not. Justin B and Hennesee have been barking at each other a lot lately too.

That 10-4 works 90% of the time half the time.

A few questions for the Podcast,
Any chance of having a TAR bank match? Even if just a two day matchup, like one day short rack and day two be full rack bank. Got to have Brumback, but not sure how he would be under shot clock.
Mark has mentioned possibly bringing back the US Open 14.1. What about the US Open Bank tournament? Could co-promote it with the Tunica bank event, as an example.
Any industry news yet on if Badi will bring back the Ultimate 10 Ball after this year’s turnout? Or any news on a third Derby style (Harrah’s) event?
So how were Cyclop balls ultimately received at the US Open events? They going to be sold in the US?
One TAR event I never saw was the Chohan vs Gabe 1P match. Any chance down the road of that going to the on demand site? Any update on the Schmidt v Harriman matches being uploaded?

Why not an undercard?

I really think - as I have said before - you will gain some PPVers if you had a short set AZB undercard teaser match. I know travel logistics have to be hurdled, but there's so many possible match-ups and some of us knuckleheads would absolutely do it on our own dime.

OMGWTF vs Mary Avina
Cleary vs a left handed chip monk on acid
Fatboy vs Chiborak
JB playing with himself, err the ghost

The action room would go ballistic. Free advertising.

What could go wrong?
 
Hows about a banks match up between Brumback and Alex? Maybe throw in a 1P set if you can get Brumback off the farm long enough. :wink:

Edit: Dangit, didn't see Joe mentioned that..
 
I trust that Mark will pontificate about the CSI sponsorship of Mike Dechaine....

I'm looking forward to hearing both of your opinions on what's been going on the last few months. Plenty of material, for sure.

I imagine we will discuss the press release and some of our feelings on this issue. But I don't think it qualifies as 'pontification'.

No offense to Landon but the window is WIDE OPEN if anyone wants to bet on Landon in that match. I don't know how much I would bet, but I know I would not stop accepting until I ran out of money.
 
I know everyone likes the youngsters or up and coming players, but I would love to see some of the older players match up. I know most probably don't play the speed they used to, but they seem to be leaving us a little too soon lately and I think it would be a great thing to give a couple of them the spot light once again.

OK... this is genius!

If you could set up Lou vs Wayne, I wouldn't be able to get the money out of my pocket fast enough. That is some one-hole that you couldn't afford to miss... main even material, IMO.
