You both mention regularly how impossible it is to make money from a tournament or a tour. I'd like to know why. In a Vegas hotel, I understand everything costs, but it seems the way it is presented even if you held it in an existing pool hall you'd lose money. You don't have to hang lights at an existing venue so maybe if went through some rough numbers it make it easier to see why. Nothing has to be specific to an exact even or dollar figure, but putting something out there might help generate some ideas.
Also, Mark seems to have done ok in the business of pool halls. Does he have any insights for other owners out there who might be having trouble. Is there something different he did than what he sees around today?
