Lonnnnng match, maybe too long! Something like eight hours.

I agree, and you're even in the better time district than I am.

From what I can ascertain, they played 5 sets, and this last one was the tie-breaker?

If it ended at 6:30 a.m. my time, that means it ended 3:30 a.m. Vegas time, and I guess 3:30 in the morning in Vegas ain't that late or early, depending on how you look at it. :D

If I was to have watched this match, I do not think I would have enjoyed watching 8 hours of it, even though I do enjoy seeing good pool.

Before I get slammed by the JAM haters, this is not a knock on TAR by any means, but I just wouldn't want to be at my computer that long. I spend enough time on here already. LOL!

does anyone have the numbers on how many viewers were on the free UStream feed last night? In the PPV room there were only 30 paying viewers.

Thanks for the updates Lenny, I had to go to bed. It was nice to get to work and read how it ended. I would give you rep but I must spread some around.

I was watching in the end, and it looked like 150-170 viewers if the numbers under the screen were correct.

Time difference is an issue, if TAR has a filipino player in the pit, they should perhaps start in the morning vegas time to get filipino viewers, and 12 noon if a european is playing? Hard to please everybody.

Anyway, thanks to TAR - great match, the difference in the end was luck / unluck on the break, although to me it seemed as if Darren had slightly better cueball controll than Scott Frost. Scott missed a cruical run-out near the end when he hooked himself, I didnt see Darren miss position in the last set.

I had to go to bed at 11 or so either way, but I sitll bought the PPV. Time difference aside, it is always like this. The free feeds get a ton of viewers and the PPV's have only a fraction of that. Are people really that cheap to not want to spend $25 for 20 or so hours of pool coverage? Maybe I'll do a contest and give away a free PPV for the Alex/Shane match so somebody that actually can't afford it but would like to see it can.

Face it many people are cheap and many people cannot afford to give up the 25 when it may need to go to food or gas. Personally I have purchased every TAR PPV and not watched a lot of the action due to other commitments. I purchased last night's knowing that I would only watch a little but we will be streaming tonight and tomorrow at the pool room and it should be fun to watch the 9 and 10 ball. Even for free I would not lose sleep to watch 8-ball.

Whats the UPDATE for tonight???

TAR's site hasn't been updated.

Is it free again or will it be PPV. I noticed my 25 dollars was already refunded to my paypal account.

Whats the scoop TAR??
