Hey all. I have searched the globe for a copy of this game. It is more like a training tool for shape and such. If anyone has any idea on where to pick one up, please let me know. I have talked to Kim himself through a contact and he doesnt even know where to find one. So I figured this would be a good route to go.

Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

I've heard a rumor that all remaining (unsold) copies were lost in a fire. To the tune of 8,000 copies. That is supposedly why the product disappeared from the radar...there were none left to sell. It's a simple-to-make product though so maybe it will see production once again.

I think I have one put away somewhere. I don't think I ever used it. I will check later today and let you know.

I've got an unopened (still in its plastic) copy.

Not a knock, but I think a napkin works just as well, unless you are playing a game with someone else like H-O-R-S-E. Just use your imagination and come up with as many ways to land on the spot as you can.

I have one, but I don't want to get rid of it. If you have access to Kim, ask his permition to post it on here, and I will diagram the shots, ect. so more can benefit from it. I think it was and is a great training aid.

I played this game a buddies house a long time ago. He has since moved away. I would be interested in purchasing one.

I just use 50' pistol targets....cut to the outside circle...they lay flat on the table. Great for target practice.

I did find mine but it is missing the full target and the half target but everything else is there and in good condition. The book being the main part. The box is somewhat worn. You are welcome to it if you want it. Just pm me your info. I'll be glad that someone will get to use it. No charge, no nothing, just enjoy it.

If not, then I'll offer it to the other member here from Southern Cal.

I have a brand new one, still in the plastic that I would sell for the right price.

The right price being equal to or greater than what I paid for it !!

Hi Frank,

I would be interested in your copy. If you still have it, the least you could do is give it to me since you knocked me to the one-loss side in the swanee last year in the first round. just joking, hope all is well, but i would love to check this out if you are wanting to give it to an aspiring pool player.

take care.

Let me Know

Let me know if you still have it and what was the original price or do you have a set price in mind?

Not exactly what you are looking for, but give Joe Tucker's "Guaranteed Improvement" drill book a try. Its only $11. You can get it with a video also, but the book is way more important. It has several drills where you attempt to land on a piece of paper 10 times in a row, then move the paper one diamond and try 10 more in a row, then keep repeating this several diamonds and for several types of shots. The book includes spaces for you to track your progress and score, and to keep notes on things you discovered.

Highly recommended, and as the title says, if you actually DO the drills, your improvement is guaranteed.

Can one of the posters who has both the target and the book PM me with a price?

Thanks,

Short Bus Russ (Trying to make it to "B-" player)

Hard to find Target Pool

I was like you about 1 year ago. I searched frantically for a copy. I actually joined AZ when I found one on the For Sale forum. I paid a pretty penny, but it was still in the plastic wrap. The unfortunate thing is that I haven't had a chance to play it yet!! :frown:

These are getting to be a very rare item...once you find one...I would keep my hands on it...It is my understanding that there are no future production plans.

I just made a large target out of a thin white bed sheet, cut it out 18x18 and took some pots & pans of different sizes and a sharpie, made a fine target. And it's super thin cloth so I just fold it up like a hanky and put it in my case. Shots are shots, make up your own. 5 circles, 5 point values. 3 tries per person per shot. pretty simple actually.

me too. I have played this once and thought it was great. I would love to get my hands on one.

Target Pool

I have one.
The box is autographed by Kim Davenport..

It's the Book of al the shots inside that is most valueble.
Like all the other said, the target sheet can be anything.

Someone send me a good offer and I'll sell mine.

Thanks, Alton - Cue Caps
