Just got this in the mail from the Tascarellas. This was converted from an NOS titlist cue. It has a standard .84 joint size. You don't see many wood to wood Tascarella's. Couldn't be happier, Pete/Pete are in a class of their own.

They forgot to put a wrap on that cue....:p

There's something about this cue that I find super cool...just can't put my finger to it...

i am surprised even though its has no joint collar.. that its still not a compression fit...

yeah, the pilot is not as large as other tascs but you still have to muscle the last 1/2 turn like them. Not sure if maybe the bigger pilot puts more pressure on the wood of the butt...?

Played with the cue for a couple hours last night. Never felt so comfortable with a brand new cue. Typically It takes me months to be able to adjust. Very nice hit.

On a cue like this, the compression parts comes from the wood on the butt side, instead of the wood around the pilot. Same theory, different execution.

I've had a few they built like this, and they were certainly among my favorite playing cues. I also had a 3/8 10 wood to wood that was a sweet hitter.

Re:Titlist

Good Evening,

I've been thinking about having Pete build me another cue. I'd love a wrapless Titlist like yours. What are the lengths of both parts? Do you know if a 59" wrapless be pulled off (29.5/29.5)?

Thanks,

Bill

This one happens to be 59". 29.5 each with a standard diameter joint. Its proven to be very very difficult to find titlist that are .86+ at the 29.5 mark.

BTW, this cue plays so sweet, easiest cue I've every adjusted to.

Tasc. Titlist

Ok, big name builder AND a little longer than average? Now I'm jealous!!! If you ever decide to sell it, please let me know. That's a beautiful conversion for sure. I have a nice 59' Hoppe, but I'd love to own a nice Titlist too.

Enjoy
