It's more control than recovery. I'll have this thing until that last elephant craps all over me.
The good news, of course, is that modern medicine has allowed me to, once again, play One Pocket without seeing two object balls, and it (the medicine) also keeps my left eyelid from slamming shut. This was a problem in the beginning because the girls at the pool hall, I beg your pardon, sports bar and grill, thought I was getting fresh.
I still tire out sooner than I used to, but what the hell, I'm older so marathons are no longer necessary.
