It has been a good two weeks and I want thank everyone for their support on azbilliards...In vegas it was a real great time playing against Dennis Orcullo... Playing him is my best experience I can have. Hes plays really well in vegas and either I win or loose Hes the best player I had played so far. and for all the other players that I have played, I do respect their game....but the funny part is Im probably going to play against dennis for the next 20 years or so  ..

The world 10 ball was a blast, It was a very strong field from all over the world...I was very impressed with Cliff joyner game in the finalls.. He had beaten alot of good players and he is a real good 10 ball player...I watch alot of good matches in the tournament and it was a very exciting tournament...I want to thank Charlie Williams for a great tournament and looking forward playing in next year event...

I also want to thank my friends justin Acker and JCIN (azbilliards) for their support... and most of all I want to thank the BCA for their sponsorship....:) Of course, I want to thank all my friends in south Dakota, Minnessota, and North Dakota, for their moral support.

Needless to mention my familly, they are always their for me.......;)

thank you, Shane VanBoening (the southdakotakid)

Thank You

for putting some inspiration back into the American Poolplayer scene for us.
You had many matches with great players, and triumphed over them all, except Danny, of course, but Danny is a great player too.

Coming back and beating Dennis was most impressive, and like you said, I am sure you will play him many more times. Congratulations on a very impressive win, and I am just sorry you only got $14,000 for at least a
$50,000 performance.

no thank you

Shane we thank you for being a great person and a great player! your game speaks for itself! and you are living proof that if you work hard and stay focused anything is possible! i along with everyone else look forward to many more long weekends of "LIVE UPDATES" about or friend doing what he loves to do! congrats again!

I was fortunate enough to be there to watch Shane play in the last 2 tournaments. In my opinion he is the future of American professional pool. The kid has the heart of a lion and the scary part is that he continues to improve.

The thing about Shane that impresses me most is his conduct on and off the table. He does not smoke, drink or fool around with any of the traditional pitfalls of young champions. His head is on straight and he is, in general, just a nice guy.

In these past two tournaments he has shown the world what he is capable of. I think we have much more to look forward to. Players like Shane can help the game in America. The reaction of the fans in Vegas and Jacksonville convinced me of that.

I consider Shane a good friend and I want thank him for the good times I have had hanging out and watching him play the game at a level that, is at times, amazing.

Good luck to you in the future Shane. I know it will be a bright one and all of your friends here on AZ are rooting for you.

Below are some pictures from Shane's Championship performance in Jacksonville.

Shane,
It showed great heart for you to from what I understand from other sources want to play Dennis again in this tournament after the loss in Vegas and to win. I have no doubt that many more re-matches will follow. Congrats on the win ! :p

I think it's amazing you've made such a mark for yourself in such a short time. Congratulations!

Congrats on the big win, Shane!

To place 1 and 2 in those two tourneys is unheard of! Can't wait to see what you do next.

High class pool at it's finest.

Cheers.

Great showing Shane.

Congrats! I had never heard of you until this year when I started that thread about you. I guess you showed me huh? LOL

Atta Boy!!
I've been keeping my ears open for updates on you since you came through Chattanooga Tennessee a while back. I think you can be a great champion.
Stay the course, and show 'em that USA got game and a helluva lot of heart.

Way to go Shane, what you've been doing is amazing. And a BIG Thanks for being such a good example for all the other up and coming youngsters world wide.

Shane,

Thank you. You are a great player and you are definitely playing the best pool of your life right now. It was a pleasure to watch you play this past week (as always) and it was great to talk with you again, albeit briefly. Best of luck to you in the next event, see you there!

Keep this crap up and you're gonna start killing your action for sure ;-).

It was nice to be able to wish your grandpa a happy 80th in Vegas. You're fortunate to have a grandpa like him, and he's fortunate to have a grandkid like you.

Congratulations Shane.

Funny thing, I had never heard of you before the IPT tournament where you after round 1 was eliminated but had most B&R (7 I think).

After that I have been wathcing your name in the brackets, but you surely impressed me a lot these last two weeks.

Congratulations!

Congrats Shane, !!

You are a class act that has always impressed me with both your on table killer instinct, but also your off table additude. You never get down on yourself, and take only what the table gives you. You should be proud that the BCA has also seen what an inspiration you are to the billiards industry! I am glad to know you and always look forward to seeing you play..

I have listened to you and jessee B. bark at each other about matching up bar box -vs- 9 footer, for about 3 years now. That alone has been more entertainment than i have gotten in any pool room in many years.

Best wishes on your continued success, and hope to see you again soon!

CONGRATULATIONS SHANE !!! do you consider playing Yang this time? some avid fans in particular might think that their boy "Yang" is being left out as being the greatest or not even being mentioned in the spotlight or was he in the spotlight? too bad for those guys ! :D

Congrats Shane. I got to watch 4 of your matches in Vegas at the BCA and you continue to impress me. You are my favorite player to watch and root for on tour. You have a lot of class, composure and are a great role model to the up and coming players.

Keep up the hard work and the rewards will continue to come.

Best Regards, JBK

Great job, Shane!

Thanks for being a friend to Landon!

After the tourney, Landon commented to me, "Dad, I picked a good one didn't I?"

I answered, "Yes, Shane's a champ on the table and off the table."

Landon's mother and I commend you and all your support folks back home. It's a pleasure to see the champion within you surface for all of us to see.
