Thank you to all the AZ'ers and sponsors who made TAR 19 possible.

Yours is one of the classiest posts in the history of this forum, Justin.

Your appreciation for those who figured in making this match happen is well stated, but you should take a deep bow for a job well done. Thanks for bringing this wonderful event to New York City. I'm glad to have had a chance to attend it live.

Congratulations and thanks to all at TAR and all those who combined to make this match a reality. Nice going!

Hey Justin,

Great post and great event, watched the entire stream Tuesday & Wednesday nights and was lucky enough to be there live on Thursday night for the final night -- once again a top notch production for us pool addicts -- appreciate all you and the others have done, nice to see you again, be well!

JCIN I wouldnt know what to do if I didnt have a future TAR match to look forward to. The buzz starts a month ahead of time......bets are made.....barking done.....and the beauty is we get to sit on the sofa with some beers and the laptop and just watch the best players in the world try to beat each others brains in!!!

What we need to see is a few "undercard" type matches inbetween the BIGTYM TAR events if possible. I would still pay to see a grudge match between AZB posters......I think the beauty of it is getting a good crew of characters in the booth to tell stories and keep the stream buyers entertained.

Come to think of it if you just pulled up a chair at McCreadys house and listened to him tell stories for a few hours.....I'd pay $25 for that. On the way to his house stop and talk to Jay Helfert, or Freddie the Beard....or Ronnie Allen!!!! Maybe its not just a great pool contest but a history lesson from Billly or and Grady........or check out Mike Shamos' and all he knows about the sport.....

how bout a tour of the countrys well known rooms and the players there....just thinking out loud here....

thanx for what you all do!

G.

im sure Ronnie Allen would be glad to tell stories for hours and he lives in Vegas, I would pay to hear more Ronnie stories any time

Justin, glad I could be your right hand man. You nearly killed me but it was awesome! Had a great time and can't wait for you to come back to NY just to hang out brother!

Personally, I wanna thank TAR. Justin works his ass off and gets matches like this to happen. He threw me on board and I got to watch a great match with the best view in the house. It was a great time. Justin took care of my food and drinks (which is enough to bankrupt most countries) and never let my glass get dry.

Also want think Caroline for all she put into this. She was driving everyone around, including myself.

Justin thanks for putting the whole shabang together for guys like me to see. With no TV coverage of our beloved game, its only you and so few others that stream that give us our much needed fixes, and no one puts together matches like this but you. For me it was great the event was in NYC giving me the opportunity to make it there, even though i made to Amsterdam towards the end thurs night, and my wife wasn't so happy/still not so happy i crawled into bed when i got home close to 5am on a weeknight, I'm in for the next PPV for 20 and will show if i can too.

looking forward to pounding more of those Makers and Cokes :)

Jason,
Classy acknowledgment and good people that helped to pull it all off. I'm glad that people came through for you. I will continue to buy your streams. Ballsy of both Mika and Shane to put on a show. Two thumbs up for bringing pool to us masses!

JCIN thanks for another great match. I have been to many of these TAR matches (Hatch vs Appleton, Donnie vs Shane, Shane vs Mika, I know I'm forgetting a match) and they just keep getting better. I can't wait for the next one and hopefully I will be able to be sitting ringside for it. Thanks also to all the people that helped JCIN make this match happen.

I know you get all kinds of suggestions on what you should do or how to do it. The one thing that keeps coming up is the undercard matches. I think if you could pull off a undercard match to be played daily before the main event that would be great. Or maybe multiple small matches to happen eachday before the main match. I know its tough just to get one match to come off let alone 2 or more but its a thought.

thanks again

First of all I am sad to hear that TAR is struggling. The revival of the multi-day long race is a worth endeavor. I sincerely hope that you can continue.

As someone who has put on a lot of trade show booths I can empathize with what an undertaking anything like this is and a trade show booth is way way less technical.

I have seen the gear that you and Andy lug around and it's a lot. And you have grown your capabilities tremendously.

19 TAR Matches! Amazing. Plus all the free footage you provided at the DCC and other places. IF you were to go out now then still you have left a HUGE footprint on pool and a great legacy.

You and I don't get along but I will never ever denigrate the effort and results you put forth. I hope TAR can continue and grow forever.

If you ever decide to put up the TAR Matches on some sort of on-demand server like AccuStats then you certainly have at least one customer in me for that.

While you made a very fine post thanking those that have helped TAR present the show, we as viewers would like to thank TAR for continuing to bring us gambling matches by the best players in the world.

THANK YOU TAR for scratching our itch!!!!:grin:

Now lets get a Dennis Hatch/SVB match going... I like those offensive players ! People that get down and shoot the ball. The people that take 3 trips around the table, got a 45 step stroke process and have any issues with lint, need not apply !!!! In that long of a race format, if they have players that take way too long to shoot, it's going to affect the viewership.

What have you got planned for DCC this year, Justin? Looks like I will get to finally meet you there, this year:)
