Agreed. Anything I can side bet on I am all for. And if that doesn't pan out I am quite sure I can find a match somewhere to sweat.

day Saturday & wouldn't mind pitching in some,
but I'll be with a couple of friends & won't have
too much time for it. Whatever you guys think

I hear you loud and clear. It would have to be a Race and not Ahead match. Better for TV anyway.

Tom, That's one of the funniest things I have heard in a while. I am only going to be there on the 13th & 14th. I will stand in some, but I am not the right guy for this task.

Feedback Needed From Those Who Have Committed $.

What about this room being for OnePocket.org members also?
I am a member there and I know many here are also.
They can bring a lot to the table in more ways than one and if they sign up over there as well as over here, the cost per should go way down.
There are quite a lot of pros from there that might make this even more interesting and fun.
To those who have committed $ to this room, please let us know your thoughts on this.
Maybe this can become very affordable for anyone and everyone. I mean if we get say 50 people, it's only $20.

Tom, the more you can get pros and semi-pros into the room to both play and mingle, the more I'd love to put money down for this thing. I'm fine with getting players from onepocket.org over, especially cos they can get the costs down. I know its a grand just for the room...but if you were thinking of catering food or drink at specific times that'd be great....esp cos we'll have more people with paying power.

I just checked out onepocket.org to see if you had posted something about the room and donations. I didn't see anything about the room mentioned on their forum. I don't mind anyone from 1p.org being involved. Get the ball rollin'.

I just had a call from Greg Diamond and everything looks positive. I started a thread over at OnePocket.org and we will see what happens.
Now I don't mind putting in this time to get this going - BUT - the DCC is my private Vacation without the wife & kids - SO - there is going to have to be some members step up and run this room.
I'll be way too busy sleeping, eating, drinking and going off.

I dont believe that I can go but I will throw in at least $25 towards the deal.

All I would ask is some pictures and stories.
I also think Grady would be a good person to try and get to do something.
He has a great picture collection and has tons of stories.

A couple things I have not seen addressed that I would wnat to know if I was going to attend would be and/or organizing it
1- size of the room
2- will there be ample seating or any seating.
3- Will the room be open all the time ..
4- who is responsible for the room. If its open and no AZB rep is there
and something happens. Is it lockable?

I think its a great idea and all the loose ends can be worked out. Just getting the room is only part of it.
I really wish I could go but with it so close to Xmas its tough. I will make it one year for sure.
 
This is going to be GREAT!......

A place to show off cues, set up proposition shots, learn some new 1P moves, I can't wait!.......Our room is going to be THE spot to be once everyone finds out about it!.....Gerry
 
Not a frequent poster...but

I stop by regularlyto read posts, and assuming that this takes place on the final weekend-
