The Hustlers new Clip

This way they can miss and do another take :D;)

So we didn't do that in our matches at all. What we did do was after reviewing the footage they looked at the shots that were the most critical to the outcome or just looked cool in general and we had to shoot the shots over and over again with those special slow motion hi definition cameras.

Fun Fact: Several shots were never able to be recreated they were just that nasty. Next time you make a crazy hard shot or so something lucky but amazing see how many tries it takes to repeat. We all laughed whenever someone did something awesome cause we knew they'd be spending an hour or so trying to do it again at some point.

Previews look good so far. None of this fake barking garbage, or people pulling out bank rolls trying to high roll the other guy. I like how it gets straight to the match, and pretty much shows the highlights. Props to the players involved and TruTv

Lol, I'm just kidding about it now. After watching the clips it doesn't look bad to me.

At first mention it was gonna be on Tru TV i imagined the show would be like lizard lick towing or hardcore pawn.

Hopefully this will get more people playing.

Could happen but I'll bet it doesn't. Shit I'll give you 2:1.

Lol ... 2:1 on a table being flipped? Really? Get real! How about I give you 10:1 that after the first episode that there are more negative posts than positive ones? ... and we wonder why billiards, in whatever form, is not more universally embraced.

In fact with all the naysayers, I bet every forum member watches at least the first show. We all love pool ... watch the show! :)

Even though it looks pretty staged to me, I'll probably watch some of the shows just to see Emily, Smiley and Jennifer in action because of hearing about them here (and because they ain't that hard to watch :)).

But I may be unusual for a pool addict because I don't really care if it grows in popularity or respectability - I like it the way it is, a little rough around the edges.

Guys I swear to you all the pool is real...just watch the win loss percentages and you tell me what you think. Obviously the matches come from challenges and call outs Cause everyone wants the top spot. If anybody calls the pool staged they are a ****in fool

I believe you. I was there some of the nights during recording and I saw there was no staging when it came to the actual pool, only couple times were they recording one shot over and over and over again. Other than that, I didn't see them playing a whole rack ball by ball, cutting and editing anything, or stopping the players to get back into position or crap like that.

I do not understand how anyone that likes pool would not want this show to succeed. The numbers of places closing versus opening is pretty disheartening. The days of the smoke filled seedy gambling pool halls has gone perhaps this show can attract a new group of players. I hope this show makes it for the pool community, the players in it and for the backers that are making the effort to put it into production.

I don't mean the pool looks staged, just the pregame woofing - but that could make viewers wonder about the pool.

Mike, if you're really part of the action and the match ups, it'll be good, for sure.

For those that don't know it, Mike helped turn around the Des Moines pool gambling scene when it was on life support. imho.

Good luck with the show.
