Hi All,

It's been awhile since Del of DW Cases has turned out a case, so I wanted to post some pictures.

This is the first 2x3 he's made (yours is still the only 2x4 in existence, Ralf :D). It is a square configuration with radiused corners and is deeply and intricately hand tooled, as well as hand stitched. The tubes are lined with suede and Del has started to provide a shoulder pad for the strap with this model. The top is braided and the snap is hidden.

I sure wish everyone could see one of these rascals in person, as my pictures don't do them any justice! I really feel that one of these days, they will be regarded in the same way that Chas Clements cases are today, functional works of art...

Whatever amount of money you want for this case it's not enough.

Del is an AMAZING leather worker. Flawless is the only term that comes to mind.

Blown away also fits.

I am really humbled by this work, so creative, so clean, so precise. Another bar raising piece.

Del appreciates all of your feedback and nice comments! This case was a new configuration that he wanted to try, so it doesn't currently have an owner. Anyone that is interested, please feel free to PM me for pricing and any questions that you might have...

I gave you a call Dean, but didn't catch you. I will give you another shout tomorrow.

He doesn't have a website, Tony, but if you search my old posts, or look under DW Cases, you can see most of the cases he's done. They are few and far between and have been custom made in a few different styles ranging from fairly plain to extremely ornate.

Thanks Lenny! Did you have any luck finding your 5/16-18 shaft? I've got a few flatface shafts with that thread. I actually used a couple on Adam Cues and they seem to be just fine. Give me a call if you're interested...
