So...
any one who has spent some time on the forum has seen the eb and flow of "the new hotness"
For a while it was kamui tips, then kamui chalk, then the Lee Brett situation, then CJ's TOI... just curious what might be the next big thing.

Anyone have any feelers out? lol

CJ's overdue for something, I'm guessing something about Earl's $1m.

As far as I'm concerned, CJ can post whatever he wants. At least he is promoting pool...something that I haven't seen many of the other professionals doing.

If he is promoting his products, everyone has the option to buy or not buy...just like people selling cues, cases, or anything else on here. His product is his "knowledge" and he has spent numerous years accumulating this knowledge and then documenting and sharing it via various multi-media methods (streaming/DVD/etc.).

Should he NOT be compensated for his time and effort? Seems everybody wants something for FREE.

This ISN'T a slam against you, but whenever CJ's name is brought up it tends to bring the "he is ONLY here to SELL something" crowd out.

Aloha.

I think its funny that when Earl has been playing with a monster cue for quite a while now, that every one chocked it up to Earl being Earl, and now that Shane is doing it, there might be something more to it

Shhhhh. I think he is working on the 31 Degree TOI as we type.

Or it might be TOI Spot on the Wall. Ya just never know. It will be TOI Something tho.

I watched the John Barton video of him ranting about how ghost ball only works for beginners... but I'm not sure he made a valid point in the whole video... I have been using the concept of the ghost ball for a decade and run racks using it all the time... I guess I am a lucky beginner LMAO

nobody ever talks about wingspan when talking cue length?!

FWIW.....I am 5'6" 66"and my wing span is 68".....no monkey jokes! :).....so to say I play with a 58" cue is one thing for me, but different for someone with a 10" wider span then me right!?

Cue length should be a percentage of your wing span IMO.

New ball sets. Ugly balls(tm) guaranteed to confuse commentators and spectators alike. Now with even more ghastly colors, which are exactly as hard to tell apart as the old ones. Comes with an extra heavy cueball, now with 20% more skids, because that is what everyone wants.

Also rails that bank even shorter and faster: Reacta rails(tm) now with intelligent bounce which causes the balls to speed up after hitting the rails. Pool has never been more like pinball than this.

Smudg'em pockets(tm): Now with 50% more staining and countersunk lower than the rail, because looks is what matters. Nobody wants to see shots fall in.
