Whooooo!!!! Philadelphia winning! Would be so much more exciting to actually watch my horses bring home the bacon.
 
Bogus Ball will have to really pull something out to make this work. Gets boring very fast even it you can see it. Put the BB girls in thongs and it MAY work but I doubt it.

Even though I am not a fan of listening to Mark on the TAR podcasts, I think I am going to enjoy him on the next. I can't wait to listen to JCIN. It is going to be epic

But what if ppv is really a trifle in the overall plan. What if they just need to put some matches in the can and then sell them to foreign TV?

i guess they are using the old 'learn as you go strategy'

pretty epic stuff so far -- choppy stream...no stream --- wonder if there's even film in the camera's
 
The commercials come through crystal clear, though. That must mean that the trouble lies with the video source, not the number of users.
 
Remember one thing gang. You are NOT the target audience! This should have massive appeal in insane asylums all over the globe. :rolleyes:

Podcast will be next Thursday with Shane Van Boening talking about his race to 100 against Dennis Orcollo that weekend. Dennis won't make it to the podcast unfortunately as he has meetings in LA and comes in early Friday morning. I'll start a question thread for Shane early next week.

As to Bonus Ball....the topic that interests me is how do they move forward ? Does the botched opening have any lasting affect or do they simply not care about the brutal impression left on early adopters ? Or do they just tell everyone how awesome everything is in the hopes no one will care or remember about the first two days ? Still have two more to go this week so it could open lots of stuff to talk about.

I was thinking the same thing. Really choppy for me, guessing its upload bandwidth related on their end or equipment settings regarding downsampling. Other content from ustream is working fine for me.
