The **OFFICIAL**Morris vs. Manalo Thread

Rodney misses a tough cut doesn't even hit the 8 ball its going to be over..

KT and Siegel are saying that Siegel has predicted the score three times in a row. They had a "sealed" envelope with this match's prediction and of course Siegel said it would be 15-10 Marlon. :)

Where

I heard them say they were in California. Does anyone know where this was played?

Rodney is talking about not having focus. I wonder if the extreme focus juice had anything to do with it. I'm still going to try it and wish Rodney the best. Marlon played well enough.

I think Crown City Corey said it was in Studio City, Ca. It's right next to Hollywood.

Slow Nap or 860

I think the slow nap cloth takes alot of the finesse out of the game. Looked like Rodney was banging the balls and struggling to move the cue ball where he wanted it to go. However, both players seemed to be struggling. The broadcast went well, I enjoyed it. Thanks ITP!

I agree... I only froze up twice.. and not for very long. Not bad. I wonder how many viewers they had?

That's nothing. I predicted that Mike would predict that the final score would be 15-10 Marlon, AND that he would be right.

Wow...I didnt watch it, but read all the play-by-plays. Sounds like kinda a sloppy performance from both players. Oh well, I put my $$ on the right one I guess.....thanks for the action and the updates.

Well I'm proud of my man Manalo. Won me some cash. Don't forget that missing on purpose in 8 ball and acting like you are upset is a move used by many. Trying to get your opponent to get rid of some balls.

SOME of those misses may have been on purpose.

Sweating these online matches is the coolest thing ever. Don't give up. The technology will get better.

Yes, he's right, it was in Studio City, I just loaded the table on the dolly for taking it out of the location. It was a nice match to watch in person:D

Nice catch Joey. Maybe they should just load it up with caffeine and sugar and call it "Extreme Confusion". It could be "sweeter than Yoo-Hoo". I'm still going to try it too but doubt anything will help my game at this point. :D

I know I shouldn't say anything unless I can do better than the way RM played last night. Well I have. I never saw him take so many stupid shots and...nevermind he just played horrible. Johnnyt

typical night watching streaming for me

I locked up four or five times with various error messages, two or three before the opening break. Then I fell asleep when they went to a commercial with the score 3-2 best I recall. When I woke up they were chasing the eight ball around in the final game. Aside from shutting down the stream and giving me error messages, the stream would pause every little bit, maybe once or twice a minute, and have to catch up despite having cable net and two gig's of RAM.

This is about as good as streaming gets for me. I can't see ever buying PPV until I get a better product on my screen.
