I got busy for the last couple of days and missed the train wreck. Did anyone get killed? How many were injured? :grin-square:
So just to fill you in - I was busy having a Hydrogen Assisted fuel system added to my everyday car, a 2002 Suzuki XL-7 (way underrated mid size SUV). You might want to look into it as it can be applied to any vehicle and takes up little space. The one problem with the XL-7 is poor mileage. With the system attached, my gas mileage has increased a whopping 40%, From 17 mpg to 24-25 mpg. It will pay for itself the first year.
At the same time, I was working with a new plumber who was repairing a leak in one of our units (I hate water leaks since we pay for the water service). Plus got two places fixed up and ready to rent this weekend (that's my day job). My most important job is keeping everything rented.
My second chore was to complete the sale of my mom's Rolls Royce Corniche, a 1988 convertible that is an absolute beauty! She is 92 and bed ridden the last two years and the car is collecting dust in her garage. So I did my due diligence and set out to sell this very cool ride (not for me, a little too extravagant). I listed it several places and ended up selling it this week, on of all places, eBay. It went for the Reserve price of 35K, ka-ching. As soon as the money was deposited via wire transfer to my moms account I released the car yesterday to the shipper. I had to jump start it and help load it in myself. And it was raining in Socal all day (yes it actually rains out here every once in a while).
Then it was off to my grand daughters soccer team dinner (and her birthday party - she was 9 yesterday). Lovely families in my little nook of the world (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach) and such interesting people/parents whose kids are also on the team. My son-in-law is the coach of her team and coaches his son's team too (What a guy!). After I got home, (finally something pool related) my buddy Big Jeff Tolbert, came by to complete a cue deal we made earlier in the week. He got a super nice Leon Sly plus a John Barton case (with Sneaky Pete inside) for $800. He had left me a rough old Southwest as collateral until he could come up with the cash. Turns out the "old" Southwest was worth far more than the stuff I sold to him. I wouldn't have minded if he didn't show, but he did.
Anyway, just wanted to prove to you that I have a life outside of AZ

! Justin pretty much summed up everything I missed (nice job sir) and I'm sorry to see the ramifications for being naughty on here. Trust me I've had a few warnings myself when I got a little hot under the collar. Man, could you imagine what a cool poolroom we would have if all of us could hang out in there. So many players on here and so much knowledge to share. And what's a poolroom without a few knockers and poolroom detectives. Anyway carry on.
