THE REMATCH of the "Greatest Match in Pool History"-SVB vs Orcollo (Fri-Sun 18-20 June2021) Race to 120 /9Ball

The break weights so much for their level and I hate that. If we want pool to progress as a sport we really must find a solution to make the break shot not weigh as much as this.

One solution that I am thinking of is to remove the magic rack, that's an idea to start with but it isn't the complete solution to the problem.

I can't believe Dennis is playing with a carbon shaft. He missed a really easy soft sort inside spin shot .
The pattern racking by both players is just about the same. Odd number balls and even numbered balls are clustered together.

break from the spot and spot all balls. if you want to make just a simple rule for the break, that will make a big adjustment that is needed that isnt confusing to the fans watching.

Here are some parts of the match Day 1

I don't even like races to 50, and can say with complete certainty that I've never watched one from beginning to end. For me, a race to 25 is about all I can handle, and even that stretches me to my limit. No impromptu action match, for me, will ever be in the discussion for greatest match ever, not even if $1,000,000 is being bet.

The only exception is the Strickland vs Reyes match in 1999, although it can be argued that was more of a paid exhibition than an action match, because it came when the Filipino invasion was still relatively new and, for many, it was a referendum on whether the Filipinos had caught the Americans at nine ball. This made it greatly anticipated and a lot more was on the line than just money. National pride was hanging in the balance on that occasion.

Nonetheless, for those who enjoy these marathons, I say "enjoy the show."

I agree...just to much of a marathon to tune in.

That said, I'm enjoying the score update posts because I'm interested in who wins.

dennis gets hooked twice, jumps and makes both shots! trys to then kick, scratches, shane runs out 42-42
stream is free on facebook, they keep saying they are cutting it off but they keep free streaming, cause they are advertising using a ticker tape across the screen.
