Avitar back row: Robin-Randy-John, with the great Willie Mosconi.
Randy:
You *do* know that including Willie Mosconi in any group with "Texas Express" as their title, is something that would've made Willie himself forehead-vein-popping and spit-flying cursing, right?
Nice pic, though.

I think that about this time of his life he had mellowed out UNLESS you mentioned the Fat man.
We flew Mr. Mosconi in for this event. Willie was the main attraction. I have a taped interview that we did with Willie, one of my prized possessions.
Hope Rock'n Robin checks in here. He has a great memory, as long as it happened after 1pm....

i miss John and he was a riot as long as his caffeine intake wasn't too high. LOL
I remember that. Must have been 17 - 18 years ago? I played on the Billiard Factory team for a few years with Richard Sauer.
DAAAAAAANNNNNNNG.....what a good looking bunch...
along with Mr. Mosconi and his wife, we had Jimmy Caras and his lovely wife. They were all very gracious and signed many autographs for the hordes in attendance.
John was great to work with. His mind was going all the time. Our first tour was due to his planning and hard work. Damm good thing he didn't drink alcohol, coffee was enough.
Miss him also.

Sad to say, John is long gone. He was a visionary who helped transform professional pool with the Texas Express rules. John was a bear of a man who loved the game and the players but didn't take any crap from anyone! I kind of liked that about him. Sure do miss the dude!
