The reason for posting the stats is that wild fire threads like this fascinate me. By looking at this list I see a couple of traditional AZ All-Stars are lacking in there at bats. We have seen a couple new faces step up and take some swings. On the way to 40,000 views and 900 posts with what looks to me to be under a 100 actual posters.

Pretty interesting stuff. At least to me but then I am a dork.

LOL, now you're changing your story. Before you said that Scott bought your Tahoe for 10K; now you're saying it was a 10K down payment.

What exactly did Scott rob you of and what's the value of the possessions?

If it were me, since you've already demonstrated that you're a liar and a thief, I'd call your bluff and take you to court. But since it's up to Scott, you're gambling that he's going to let it go.

I am thinking this subject is right dead in Watchez's wheel house. 1on1 PoolTourneys is usually good for some insight in things of this nature as well. Maybe they actually had some in real life to do this weekend and they can jump here soon.

I honestly thought this thing was dead a long time ago and while it is showing those old familiar signs of fractures around the foundation I have great hopes we see a 50 pager at least out of this before someone implodes it.

They have an explanation for every losing session, never accounting for their own bad play. And when they win, they think they're geniuses.

Let's face reality here. Poker is not rocket science. Any idiot can play, and he might even win! The difference in skill level between a good amateur player and a top pro might be 5% at the most. In tournaments with hundreds of players, 90% of them may have a chance to win. That's why you see different names in the winner's box day after day, and week after week. There's a new star born every month. Finally, the great majority of the top players stay broke and need backers just to get in a tournament. It's a "sport" full of losers and crybabies! So why am I not surprised by what is going on here?

On the other hand, pool takes some real skill to be good at. Not just anybody can step up and play the game. It is a real sport, taking years of dedication to acquire the skills necessary to be a pro. Very unlike poker in this respect. Professional pool players should take pride in their abilities. They have earned the respect they receive. They have superior skills in one of the hardest games man has ever created. On a scale of one to ten, pool is a ten in the skills required to be a professional. Poker is about a three or a four. And I'm probably being generous there.

I guess all the above will begin to explain why I get upset when some poker playing crybaby gets on here and begins knocking our sport just because he doesn't want to pay a pool player the money he owes him.

I'm quite dissapointed of the few you mentioned, and I am especially missing photoshops, but maybe real life is catching up on us all... I don't post often on AZ now, but I've been busy being sick this weekend!

Though the thread had its ups and downs, it did provide a lot of entertainment for many members as well as give the parties an opportunity to express their stance. I enjoyed some of your posts; they were funny.

I even got several phone calls about this thread from people I haven't heard from in years, which was fun for me to speak to them. :)

Now it's like there's a gloom-and-doom cloud hanging overhead, and I'm not sure why! :o

Totally Agree

They were making great cash and the only way to mess it up was to get the guy pissed off. You dont give phoney racks, open doors for humidity, wipe chalk of the guys cue when he is in the bathroom, say you want to change tables in the middle of a set, make insulting comments, start arguments, move extra games on the wire when you win a game...lol you just play the game and beat the guy...AND YOU MOST DEFINITELY POST UP THE MONEY
 
Kevin Trudeau and the IPT stiffed 150-200 players out of $3,000,000+ (doing it in front of a TV audience) and got less attention than this incident. Granted there was far less "drama-action" in the IPT story... perhaps it was too high-brow?

Due to the amount of action Mr. Dippy can bring to the pool world, here is a simple, logical solution to this entire problem.

A. Give Dip a pass on this "alleged" air barrel. (I'm not on here to give an opinion, because I'm not involved and opinions are like a$$holes....which there are a lot of an AZ)

B. Gamble with him again for some of those sky high amounts (once you can match up).

C. Before playing, make him post. Once he runs out of ammunition, make him get more before playing. Once he's shown that he's trustworthy enough to do that, then you might give him another shot on "air", trusting in his word.

I believe this will be the eventual outcome anyhow.

Just my .02. I got to page 40 and had to stop reading and thought I would post this.

Fun thread.
