If you think the guy is gonna win it back, just quit! You all have loser mentality and that's why you will never have a big score.
This isn't about that. It's about a guy being stupid and not taking advantage of a good situation.
The winning player is gonna continue winning and the loser is going off, probably for all his money, cue, whatever.
If the guys speed changes on the next set QUIT, you still won $50.

And for the guys saying it's none of his/my business, you are 100% correct. But why limit yourself is all I'm saying
Maybe the winner was "content" with what he had.
As far as sets go, I'd rather play "by the game", than short sets. If you play three sets and the guy beats you two sets 5-4, 5-4, and you win the third set 5-0, who is the better player? He has won 10 games and you have won 13.
To me, three short sets of 5 prove nothing...especially playing 9-ball or 10-ball.
I've had idiots try to "double up" on me, over and over and over, in the hopes that they can hit something that "evens them out", so they can quit even.
Set a time limit, instead of a number of games. I can play a LOT of games in a few hours and I used to get on rolls and steamroll people. I've played plenty of times where I've got 10, and more games ahead, in a HURRY.
Everybody wants an "edge". My edge was that I would usually "outrun" most of my opponents in the long run. I've been down plenty of money at times, but never quit because I knew that if we played "long enough", I'd come out on top.
