Tim Scruggs Comeback

Didn't he sell all his equipment and shop already?
How is he going to recoup the costs in rebuilding ?

Tim said I am thinking about getting back in,do you think you could help?
He did not ask me to do exactly what I did here,I used my imagination
and put the question directly to the people on AZ,How many of you want to buy

Does anyone else want to assure themselves a Scruggs, please send me a PM

By the way does anyone want a new Tim Scruggs hand signed sneaky
pete.
They aren't much to look at but they play oh so good
each one will sell for $650 and only around 50 will be made if and when Tim gets started
he will need the start up practice for training 2 young helpers before they
move to the master works that Tim is so well known for

No deposits now, wait till Tim decides to go and sets up the machinery

What are the chances?I would honestly guess less than 50/50.This is a big
decision for Tim,lets all wish him success

thank you for your show of good will to Tim
I know he will see your order and be encouraged

I wish you guys knew this Hall of fame cue builder,
he is as good a guy as it gets
I hope for his and our sakes he gets back

Looks like alot of cues have been sold in this nothing for sale thread! Deanoc you did good! Ron

why wouldnt this be the correct section? could easily end up being the sign up sheet that scruggs ends up working off of.

I think you are spot on with this assessment. In fact, there is a precedent to this type of thread. Many may remember the thread for Ernie Martinez from a few years back, when he decided to return to cuebuilding. Ernie used the thread to build his cues from. He also had a middleman (like Deano) who handles all of the AZB contacts and order sequence for him. This thread would be exactly the same thing, IMO.

Tap! Tap! Joe and jdxprs. But tell plshrk22 Tim stopped doing sneaky petes and gave all that wood to Bob Frey.

Joey here you go again
talking when you know not what you speak of
Tim closed his business but still owns his machinery

As for Lee why don't you get your facts straight by calling Tim
I am not Tims salesman ,but I am doing him a favor in this spot.

a Scruggs cue

So far in a down economy about 70 people placed orders contingent on Tim coming back.

I call that selling

Dean,

I would like to be put in for a Scruggs Sneaky Pete; however, I would like to customize it if possible (ie., jump Break, two shafts with specific diameter, joint type, etc).

Please let me know if that is possible.

I already have one that Tim made for me several years ago, but I wouldn't mind having another.

Thanks.

put me down..... I would love for Tim to make me a solid gaboon ebony player ivory joint and some fancy ring work...

I'd take one of the Sneaky's as well.... on top of my monster cue order. I play a lot with a 25+ year old TS sneaky and that bastard plays lights out. One of the best cues I've ever hit.

Greg

Dean,
If it does happen put me down for 2 a sneaky and a hoppe.

Thanks
Shane

This whole thing sounds too good to be true. (I AIN'T THAT LUCKY) I only have two TS's, I gotta have another. I'd be happy to put a deposit down up front but that's not how he did business in the past. The last cue he made for me, we sat down and designed and he wouldn't take a deposit. Man I'd love to have another one!!!

With all of these orders it looks like I am not alone in wanting Tim back
and a new Scruggs in my case

Wasn't that ebony on ebony cue a beauty

If you really want one please post or PM

Also is there out there a cue maker near Baltimore who would like to
work with Tim?

Tim and Bob Frey started together maybe they could finish together.
