I am curious what customer base you want to attract.
With 36 7-foot Diamonds I would be tempted to say 'League Players".
Are all the tables on time? Any coin-op tables?
Are you going to be your own League Operator, or hire someone to do the job? I would hate to see some ordinary League Operator (with no financial interest in the room where the league plays) having control of when and where teams play.
Kudos for a great pool room, and I hope if you are after league teams you get control over the league operations, rather than let someone else walk away with the team money each week.
The intention of this room is a new concept.
16 nine foot can hold about any pro event.
The 7 foot tables gives me the option to hold many regional and amateur events.
All leagues will be invited to play. We will offer in-house cash leagues also.
Tournaments are what this room is designed for with ample seating for all team events.
We will also run our own tournaments on 7&9 foot tables.
Monthly tournaments will be money added in-house on both 7&9.
8 ball, 9 ball,10 ball,one pocket and straight pool all in-house.
Team challenge's from region to region.
With this size room I can do leagues, tournaments and public play all at the same time.
I have options no one else has.
All 7 foot tables are smart tables. Most will be on time play.
We are classified as a Resturant with games so under age can play also. We will be doing a lot with Junior leagues.
Most pool room owners do not recognize the fact that you have to grow your own clientele.
A proven fact for me as my last room operated 25 years.
Also our location is zoned for 24 hr operations.
Friday and Saturday we will operate 24 hrs a day.
Table rates have to be competitive.
We will offer first class room at budget rates.
$4 hr for one player $8 for two or more.
We have a kitchen with a great kitchen manager and a world class bar in separate rooms so you don't have to be a player to visit us.
I have a dream...I'm building it and I'm betting they will come.
