To Mike Cochran

I was shocked this morning when i heard of mikes passing i just dont know what to say i have always enjoyed talking with mike and emails back and forth ill miss that very much ill always keep that in my thoughts goodbye friend

This is really horrible news. I didn't know Mike that well, but I had spoken with him numerous times and traded many emails regarding the design for a Scruggs cue he was making for me. I was always surprised by the time he would take to respond to emails and chat on the phone, even when we all knew how in demand he and Tim were/are as cue makers. He'll be missed by everyone here in the pool world, and even more so I imagine by his friends and family.

Mike

I only had a few dealings with Mike over the phone but he was vey helpful and fun to talk to, My condolences to his family and freinds, the world is a little worse off now with his passing.

Mike

I dealt with Mike several times when I was having a Scruggs refinished, etc. I regret that I never had the chance to meet him in person. He came across as a true gentlemen; despite his sterling reputation he seemed to be a humble person. One of the good one's for sure. My condolences to his family and friends.

We have lost one of the most generous guys in the pool world. Tim and Mike were like brothers and treated everyone with kindness and respect.
I hope Tim can somehow carry on the tradition as it would be very sad to lose them both. On Thursday we will be celebrating Mike's legacy. I will salute him and say a final farewell but Mike will live in my heart forever r.i.p.

Mike's passing

Though I never met Mike in person we did do business a number of times via telephone. Always, without exception, he was gracious and generous with his valuable time. A true gentleman and masterful cuemaker, he will be missed. I share in the sentiment that I hope Tim will be able to carry on without his good friend.

My most sincere condolences to Mike's wife and family, Tim, and all of his friends.

God bless.

R.i.p.

Deepest sympothy for Mike's family and friends.. R.I.P. Mike. I live 2 blks. from the shop...still can't believe this happened.

R.I.P. Mike

I am honored to be able to call Mike my friend. I saw Mike every Saturday and I looked forward to his quick wit and banter. His cuemaking skills progressed to the point that he developed his own line of artistic innovation. Always a gentleman, I watched Mike and believe me when I say, he could have written a course on what customer service should be. Though I know he is gone, I will always remember him as the great friend he was. Lester
