Hi folks,

I've been on the internet since before it was the internet.. back then the only way on if not in a college was thruogh BBS's.. good times. anyway, in all that time, I've never been a poster on any forums.. I have never found a group of folks with whom I'd want to share my thoughts. So I wanted to thank you all for showing me that there does exist a community of folks on the internet who are, for the most part, a group of gentlemen (and ladies!). Thoughts here are always welcome, opinions valued, and bottom feeders quickly dispensed. I sincerely appreciate all of you, for making such a fine community, and for making me feel welcome in it.

Best forum and some of the best people on the net. Mike and the mods. do a great job too. I have never come on here with a question that wasn't answered...even if someone had to go to the trouble of doing a lot of research to get me the answer. Johnnyt

Very cool Joe. Unlike you, I never went on the "net" until about 5-6 years ago. It took me two years of using the AZ site as a tournament source, before I ever went into the Forums. 3,000+ posts later and here I am still.

By the way, what is BBS?
 
I agree completely. This is a nice group of people. I too played with the old BBS structure back in the 70s and this is one of the best places currently on the net. The discussions are often exceptional, the tone appropriate, and the moderators are as unobtrusive as possible. Couldn't ask for more IMO.

I notice that newbies and Pros seem to get along quite well with respect for ignorance but little tolerance for jerks. It is pretty much self policing. What the net should be about.
 
Generally a great group of people here on AZ. I can't recall a question of mine that went unanswered. Glad to welcome you to the board!:)
