Tom Ferry (Old Has Been) never denied being a pool hustler. In fact, he told everyone. It wasn’t his fault if they refused to believe him. Tom left this earth at 5:30 this morning, leaving his wife, Rita, his son Tommy (21) and daughter Katie (19).

Tom was the MO state nine ball champion twice yet one pocket was his game of choice. Tom related some wonderful road stories on this site and others. Tom was my friend. I will miss him.

I didn't know Tom except through his postings on this board. His contribution will be missed. I do hope his passing was easy.
My condolences to you, his friend, and his family.

Rest in Peace, OHB.

I never read anything about him being ill. Never met him but I'll miss him. He seemed like a cool guy and he was one of the best posters on AZB.

$Bill:

I am truly sorry for the loss of your friend. I read many of his posts and enjoyed his road stories. I will miss his writings.

My regards to you and his family. It is sad news.

(does this mean that he won't be nominated to go to the U.S.Open)

you are just sick

Very sad. I enjoyed listening to his tales and he seemed to be a great guy. I wish his family the best. I am sure the crew at the DCC room next year will think of some way tribute as it seems DCC was his favorite event of each year.

Tom was one of the few I liked on these boards.
His input and personality will surely be missed.

This is very sad news. Tom was a great guy and his greatest success was his family. He always talked about his family, more than he ever talked about pool. He will be missed.

Tap Tap - Good game, my friend.

This sucks, I only knew him through this board, but I always enjoyed his postings..

RIP OHB.

RIP Tom Ferry. Your lively and entertaining road stories, sense of humor, and obvious love of the game of pool will most assuredly be missed here at AZB and OnePocket.org. Jeff.
