How odd! I don't even see Efren of Jose on these. WTH!![]()
Efren 11-8
Sky 11-10
I don't think those are right. Look at the brackets. Johnnyt
Efren 11-7
Alex 11 - 8
Does anyone know what's the biggest package ran in the tournament so far? I know Bergman probably ran a package in his 11-0 whitewash and I read in an article that Dechaine ran a 3 pack against Tony Drago. If anyone is to master the break, I bet on Mike. Hopefully he wins his first US Open this year! I'm rooting for Shaw, Dechaine, Shane, or Earl. Had to throw Shaw in there to not seem to biased towards the US of A.

Sky's sweet mom, who is proud as punch of her son, said on FB that Sky is comfortable on TV tables with hot lights. This should be very interesting. I can't wait!![]()
Let's not forget Sky's win at Derby City under the Accu-Stats lights. Winner of the Derby City Classic Banks ring game.

It doesn't get any better than this. Wow!
Alex is a veteran champion and has no fear in front of the camera. It will be interesting to see how Sky handles this kind of pressure. This is Sky's first Open.
Most know there is a wee bit of rivalry between Jose and Efren. IMO, Jose is, indeed, the leader of the Filipino Invasion, but Efren has received much more accolades than Jose Parica. There is a tension here. When Jose beat Efren in a California tournament about 10 years ago or so, he did not hide his glee.![]()
This will be the match of the century. Efren is in dead-punch stroke right now, playing in many events. I have not heard much about Jose in recent times. Who do you like?
Agreed that these are wonderful matches. Alex is one of the very best to watch in our game. He has a unique blend of skill, imagination and charisma, and I wish the game had a few more like him. Woodward, at 21, is just starting to show us what kind of player he can be. He's already one of the top few bank pool players and is no slouch at the other games. He has a shot but will need to be at his best.
Efren vs Jose, what can I say? Jose will be inducted into the HOF on Friday evening. These are two of the legends of our game, but I think Jose may have a little more left in the tank than Efren. I'll pick Jose to win it.
We've got it going on at the US Open!
