Unity cues!

should they tell who they are?

  • Total voters
    130
  • Poll closed .
And the poll numbers are wrong most of them are from you three B@#C@'s. The poll was about 20 pages back until you three GIRLS bumped it to the top.

Even if you disagree with what they are saying is this a professional answer from a well known respected cuemaker ? Unless the rules changed I thought everyone could only vote once ?

<---No dog in this fight but just curious

I never said mia was posting his rumors in threads

Re-read my post again.

You seem to be missing something in addition to integrity.

How many other people has mia "verified" this information to?

Still awaiting mia's response. Or do the two of you need a moment to get your stories straight?

Your nose continues to grow, Pinocchio. :D

Once more....

Maybe you should start holding yourself to the same high standard that you are trying to hold everyone else to.

<<== can play detective too

I vote that we award mnb with his honorary 'junior forum policeman' badge. Maybe then he'll quit slapping the wrists of people who have been participating here since before he was allowed in pool halls.

"WOOOOOOOOW" We see that the three stooges are up early and at it again. We have apologize a half a dozen times for how Tommie worded his first post. Tommie really believes that we are both well know cue makers. Tommie was not trying to be misleading in any way and if anybody knows Tommie then you will no this to be true. And the poll numbers are wrong most of them are from you three B@#C@'s. The poll was about 20 pages back until you three GIRLS bumped it to the top. We are glad you are on here all day bumping our product to the top. We are way to busy unlike you three we have lives.

Thanks, Unity

I hope you aren't relegating me to 'Shimp' status :(

(or that other Curly Joe who just didn't look right)

It's not my fault that Hierovision and mia have a problem with telling the truth.

And to paraphrase another one of the self-righteous:

Dude, it's a discussion forum. When you decide spread rumors around without facts, you deal with DISCUSSIONS. But since it IS a discussion forum, if you want to whine, keep whining.

Bonus points if someone can tell me who said the original quote. :D

<<== thinks runscott is still bitter over this episode

Hey, slap all you want. If you can't tell, you're providing me with all sorts of laughs.

For that last set of amazing quotes, you've definitely earned this:

Its pretty simple the logic here. The cuemakers don't want to be named because they don't want to diminish the value of their name cues. Unfortunately the market place in pool makes it that way. I look at the whole Unity cues venture as the anonymous cuemakers giving back to the community. If you are on a lower budget I think they are very appealing regardless of who makes them. Most people posting have SHAFTS that cost more than these cues.

Maybe Tommie or Unitycues can answer this. Do you offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back? If so absolutely Frost I agree with you. If not good luck trying to sell a cue that you purchased with your tight budget with a description of unknown cuemaker in the title...being a bit facetious on the description but you get the point. It makes the $350 ROI a tougher pill to swallow. That might not matter to some people though so to each their own.

This business of keeping the cue makers secret has turned out to be a great marketing move either by design or accident.

Dam this is long i feel unity cues make great cues just by what is seen . But if feel they make junk then save your money and put towards someone else. I buy and sale cues alot . I have seen there cues and the craftmen ship is better then most i have seen. I ordered a cue just by what i saw in the pictures posted here on AzB. So yes i'll shoot $300 at it and i feel i will be very happy.. So I can't wait till it get it soon..
and i'll do a cue review then..

I've learned all I wanted to and more during this thread. Thanks to everyone who contributed. I'm out of this one now.

They have offered people a Unity cue to try out with the only cost to them being shipping. I'd say that is pretty forthright and trusting.
The only way they can do this is if they stand behind their product 100%.

I've had an offer and I just may take it. Eventually I believe people will find out who the makers are and maybe they will be pleasantly surprised and know they have a keeper. There will be folks that wish they had jumped on these cues. These may not be available forever either.

I might be wrong, but I have a funny feeling about this, just my 2 cents.

Is it worth $300 to find out that in the future they may double in value or at the very least, you have a great player that will hold its value over time.

I'll say this and then be done. From this point, I'll only respond to any direct questions/comments/etc. from Unity Cues.

I applaud what you are doing. I like the idea of a solid, well-constructed, American made custom cue made to be a player and made to be (above all) affordable. It really is a strong concept. And for all I know, I might even LOVE the way they play. I think the way they were marketed was a bit gimicky and quite flawed but hey... to each his own. I wish you guys the best of luck and the utmost success with this line of cues. And I mean that quite sincerely.

If you as cuemakers think I deliberately slammed you as individuals OR slammed the cues, well... I apologize. I really don't think thats at all what was done here. Not by a long shot. But, I can't see through your eyes. If thats how you see it, you have my apologies.

Regards.

Thanks... I wonder why all the secrecy. I actually believe Unity would have been better off naming them in the first place. Being up-front with potential customers about everything is always the best policy. Trust is important.

Amen, Charlie.

Honestly, I think this is the ONLY real issue most ppl have with the Unity/coker /pierce cues guys.

Tell ya' what, I'll sign my cue and sell it to you when I finish my first one and there won't be any questions about who made it. My signature is too big and ugly to mistake for someone else's. Let's just hope my cues are nothing like my signature.

Sorry for comming back so late, been on a beach .....

Again I'll point out that Samsara brought out their Bar Cue line, and I don't think it caused their high end cues to become devalued. If they can do this why can't Unity ?
