Updat On Richie Florence Ivory Handled Ginacue

Steve,

I hit some balls with it within 3 minutes of opening from Ernie!

I love it (as I love all Ginacues).

Thanks for the nice comment!

TOMMIE,

Thanks for the comments. Richie was a King among players. A real monster of a player.

What a nice cue, funny how many people comment on the beauty and simplicity,I always think of ebony next to ivory, but this shows how nice maple looks next to ivory

Ernie seems to have a real artist eye when it comes to design and matching different elements, and Will seems to have a detectives knack for sluething out just the right ones to compliment a collection for us all to enjoy at least in print

Years ago the Glenn collection was featured in Forbes magazine,I for one would love to see the Prout collection featured as well,it would put a real spark for starting the flame in pool again.I want to see the collection, the vault, the house and all

Was looking through the search function to see what all kinds of Gina merry widows are out there when I want to buy one to try finally.

This has got to be the ultimate merry widow.

Richie Florence's Ginacue

I am glad this was bumped, what a great cue! Congratulations and all the best, Will.

Danny,

Thanks for the nice comments. I still have this cue. What a great player this cue is!

Hard to believe the handle is comprised of three ivory sections. They are perfectly matched in color,
grain, etc., and hard to tell from one piece even when holding the cue, let alone pictures.

I really like the signature in the buttsleeve, and the ghost signature in the forearm with 1969-2009.

Oh really? I would have bet the world it was one piece by the pictures alone.

That's amazing.

My most favorite part about this cue is the logo though. Gorgeous buttcap.

I'm curious as to why he needed to replace the maple core for the ivory? Was it damaged somehow? I'm in the process of making 3 ivory handle cues, just wondering if there's something I should know? Always looking to gain knowledge.
Thanks
