So we got another great azb tv stream this weekend (thank you very much) that came from Steinway Billiards in Queens, Al was commentating a match with Larry Ross sitting in with him.

Larry was correcting a chat room member who thought Jayson Shaw was playing Darren Appleton in a match at Sandcastle for the NJ State 10b Championship which was taking place the same time.

Larry said, not so, and that Jayson was resting in CT because he has been extremely sick from food poisoning he got the last day he was in Reno.

Without missing a beat, Al says in his best upbeat and purposeful voice; "Maybe he should stop by the Poison Booth at Super Billiards Expo, They'll be in booths 803 & 804." This while displaying Poison's SBX ad  :D

The man doesn't miss any chance to promote a sponsor.

And, for the record. he was doing much better pronouncing Predator than he does with Josshh. :p

best,
brian kc

Snooky

I thought that was snooky that did that!! Or I could be a mixed up old man.

AL & Alison do a great job with the streams !!! Not to mention Jerry T. Also :-)

I watched a match yesterday , nothing but safties , even when they could make a shot and was able to get position , they shot another safty , most boring match I have ever seen . Watching Jenifer lean over the table was the only reason I watch for a while .

Well now I thought I had the mixed up ol man thing cornered.. You might be right I was watching and sipping some red wine maybe the gals pulled a fast one on us both!!

It was funny and some pretty good pool, although Jen (always looks smokin) Baretta really struggled. She never got her stroke going at all..

I watched quite a bit of Al's streaming over the weekend and would like to say, "THANK YOU".

Aloha.

I watched some on Sunday also. Great job Al and the guys (and lady). It was good to watch and commentary was great as always. Thanks again !

Watched Saturday and Sunday and enjoyed it and am very grateful. But..... Al was going off about the way pool players dress. I frankly don't think it matters because only poolplayers watch the tournaments. But what I do think makes a difference is having finals of a tournament at 2AM on a Sunday night/Monday morning. The two best players in the tournament and no one but the crickets can watch. That's what I think hurts pool more than how people dress.

Brian, if you make another thread for Al, I am going to be wondering if you guys aren't going to go sheep herding together in the mountains.

Bob,
I was thinking the same thing about the time as I watched the finals. 2AM...who else stayed up?? Even the room was pretty empty...:frown:
