I did a search to see if there was one thread for this... Didnt see one.

Is there somewhere that I might see a bunch of veeneer color combo pictures all in one place??

and what are everyone's personal fav's for veneer colors?

Im considering a custom and need to figure what 4 veener color combo to go with (fyi, the cue is ebony points (black leather wrap) into maple).

Let's see everyone's favorite veneer combo's !

maple, black, red, black
maple, green, orange, black
maple, blue, mahagony, black

Jacoby's website (jacobycustomcues.com) has a cue builder section where you can get a general idea of what the cue will look like by adding your own veneer colors etc... Maybe you could give that a try?

Yeah, I did a search and saw a billion threads, but rather than go through them one by one and because I didnt see one single thread with only veneer combo's I figure this would be a great addition and much easier...

maybe that way when someone else inevitably searches for such a subject, perhaps they will find this thread and have one source for a great subject. Plus Im genuinely interested in seeing everyone else's favorite veneer combo's.

With the idea that Im going with a classic ebony into maple with black wrap my first thought was a maple, blue, dark blue, black combo... but Im also drawn to the flame veener combo, just not sure how that will look...

man, I just love the flame veneers but I dunno with ebony points into maple, pretty sure Maple,_____ , _____Black. just not sure about the middle veneers. Wondering what Red & Pewter would look like? Sounds good but I guess you just dont know until you see it. Anyone else have some fav's ??
 
Red and Black is always good,

Titlist colors are also pretty

Balabushka used black, green, orange, natural and that is a timeless look, especially with a white ring at the 'A' joint

Tony Zinzola has been using the paper veneers in between the veneers and that look is very popular search his cues.... very different veneer color combos

There is a Haley with blue and bluish green veneers that roscoe has up for sale and it is a nice touch.....

Of course, you can just think about your favorite colors, and there is nothing wrong with that at all. If you want something standard and timeless, I would copy a Szamboti or Balabushka..... if you want something totally different, consider something like this ~~~~~

I think you are right on here... IMO as long as you have natural/white first, and black on the outside, its hard to go too wrong with the middle 2 choice.

Lots of great suggestions in this thread.

I have a very nice JMW with nat/blue/red/black.
