I called Pete Tascarella to ask him about a cue, and he mentioned to me he had a fancy Balabushka with 2 original 13mm shafts and that everything was dead straight, and untouched by any cue maker ever besides him and George. I worked out a deal for the cue. Here are the pictures Pete emailed me.

Very nice cue, looks fantastic. How do these gems stay hidden away for so long and just pop up?

I double dog second the holy grail comment....

I second the holy grail comment! What a beauty, congrats!

I dont think they get more special than this...I cannot imagine what kind of deal, must have involved a real estate transaction?!

Very beautiful cue. Congrats. It looks like after it's 4th or 5th decade in existence it's primed and ready for some playtime. Wonder who the previous owner was but he or she clearly loved that beauty as it's in great shape.

It's amazing to see stuff like this makes me wonder what that cue has seen, anyway very nice find that cue is amazing.

Congratulations!!! AND you got it from the "man" so you know it's authentic. IMO, it really don't get much better than that.

Are the rings above the wrap also "gold" colored like the sleeve? In the pictures, they look kind of silver.
