I have a Kodiak Playsport, which is an HD cam (1920x1080 and 1280x720) that makes video files in .mov. .mov files are not the most popular video format for windows based computers. So i had to buy something that could support the format.
The software it came with is called Media Impression which was ok. But I wanted something that was more robust in terms of features. I ended up buying Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9.0. Which works great for me. It's pretty much what you would expect, geared toward the average home user and not the professional such Premiere. I use a combination of Vegas and Media Impression which works well for me.
And also another important feature is that I have a pretty good computer (a quad core cpu, 4 GIGS of RAM, HD4850). The reason I say this is I don't how well it would run on something slower. I still have some encoding times that take well over a half hour for a single video file. I couldn't imagine how long it would take for something like a dual core, or even a Celeron (and yeah, they still make Celeron single cores!).
I guess what I'm saying in a long drawn out way is the obvious, the fast the computer you have
alight motion bluestacks, the more you'll love whatever program you get. Anyhow good luck with your choice.
