Video of Roberto Duran playing pool at Best Billiards LV

I know Sugar Ray Lenerd plays pool. Maybe set up a challenge match between him and "Hand's Of Stone". Johnnyt

That was Tony R. that Duran kissed on the cheek at the beginning of the video. Tony is a good friend of my boyfriend's. Tony is involved in the boxing scene and has a professional practice studio which hosts many a boxer who comes to Vegas for a big event.

I think I remember hearing that Ronnie Wiseman was knocking balls around with Duran a few weeks ago. Ronnie said he was one of his idols growing up, so it was a thrill for him.

Tony looks good! Here's Tony and Keith cruising on a body of water somewhere near Las Vegas. I didn't know you could fish out in Vegas, much less have a body of water, but apparently, you can. :p

I wouldn't be so quick to pick Manny over Reberto. In his prime Duran was every bit the fighter Manny is. I remember guys trying to tell me Ali couldn't have beat Tyson to. Then he got took apart by a decent boxer in Buster dougles who as a boxer wasn't really in ali's class. Manny could possibly have beat Duran if they were both in their prime but he would have never destroyed him. I myself would bet on Duran if they were both in their prime.

Ahead, or by the set?!;):o

I'm glad to see Roberto in such good shape the last time a saw him he was a cornerman for some up and comer. He'd had really packed on the weight. In the clip of him playing pool he looks great. He's still my favorite all time boxer. In one of his interveiws they asked him if Suger Ray was the toughtest fighter he ever fought. He said yes but later admitted he just told them what they wanted to hear. Then he said he didn't know the name of the toughtest guy he ever fought because it was outside a bar in Panama.

Although we were talking about matching up Duran and Pacquiao in pool, let me chime in my 2 cents when it comes to boxing.

Comparing Tyson and Pacquiao is like comparing apples to oranges. Tyson indeed packs a wallop, but couldn't take a good punch himself. Once his opponent decides to fight back, they have an equal chance of beating Mike, while Pacquiao swings a jackhammer, and it seems his skin is made out of Kevlar. He's not the most elusive guy out there, but he'll just tap his head, or bang his gloves, then smiles at you when he got tagged good, as if saying "It's on!".

Lastly, Pacquiao doesn't quit when his opponent is clowning him, he doesn't even know the meaning of "NO MAS"...

You make a couple of good points and yes the no mas fight was a stain on Durans record. I'm sure it haunts him to this day. But you really can't judge his whole boxing career by that one moment. He tried many many times to get Suger Ray back in the ring but Ray was smart enough not to make that mistake. I wasn't really comparing Pacquiao to Tyson I was as far as their styles go. It's just back then Mike was a killer in the ring and everyone was saying he was the best ever and he would retire undefeated. Then along came Buster. And showed how a good boxer not a great boxer like Ali could take Mike apart. As far as Manny taking a punch both him and Roberto have solid chins. I just don't think he could shake off Durans punches if they were both at the top of their game.

I think he was saying that Manny would beat Duran in pool.
