I know this isn't the forum but being so close to the holidays and with all the online shopping going on I feel it necessary to make sure as many people see this as possible.

Now, I don't usually pass this type of crap on but I went to snopes and checked it myself, it's for real. With the holidays coming up and plenty of online shopping happening make sure you know what the message is before messing with it.

Many thanks. This could save us a big headache.
 
I actually have had 3-4 of those e mails already. They end up in my spam folder, and I just deleted them without opening. Good thing!!

Variations of this have been going around for ages, disguised as e-mails from your bank, credit card, and just in time for the holidays (shipping companies like UPS). Basically, they're trusting your gullability to click on the payload to launch and install the virus.
 
Thank you Mullyman. I might have clicked on FedX or UPS as we get many deliveries a week from both...everyday. Johnnyt
 
Thanks for posting! My wife said yesterday that she heard of this several weeks ago but she didn't tell me about it:eek: And, I know what you mean, I don't forward very much at all, never have.
