So sorry to hear this, wade signed a bunch of my memorbilia collectables in the last 2 years, 1 of my magazines with a paragraph about the the perfect accustats in a tourney. will be missed!

RIP Billy

F*ck

my thoughts exactly F*ck, it really sucks to lose another great life long player, in pool there are those who come and go, then there are the lifers who might drop out of sight for a while but will awalys be back. Wade was a life long player, I didnt know him personally but I have seen him play many times and heard many stories about him from other players. When your a lifer in pool, which I am-I feel a huge loss when something like this happens.

my prayers go to his family and extended pool family,

God Bless,

Eric

This is the worst of news, Wade played in many of mine and my brother Calvin's tournaments in Texarkana in the 90's, I always admired his stroke, only a hand full of players had a stroke like Crane.

I remember when I was a kid in the poolhall, this old man poolplayer called "Rip" had just returned from the "Johnson City" tournament and said Billy Johnson was playing lights out!, over the years I learned that Billy Johnson and Wade Crane were one in the same.

My prayers go out to his family, he will be missed.

Very sorry to hear this news. I bet those were some awesome tournaments David.

Prayers out to Wade's family and friends during these tough times.

Possibly the best nine-ball break I've even seen. He was immense in The Last Call for Nine-ball in Atlantic City. Sorry to hear such bad news.

Say it aint so....He will truly be missed in this part of NC. Thank you for all the memories and may you rest in peace.

a legend gone

My condolences to his family. Wade was a nice guy. He lived here in Wilmington for a while.
