I know this sort of thread has been done to death but I can't get enough of them. If you have posted one before do it again! They never get old. From start to finish is always a plus.

just out of the shop...

murrell purpleheart wrapless

Purpleheart titlist plain and simple, had to add a couple of inches to the bottom. The cue plays great with the "new micarta" ferrules.

That's what I'm talking about!!! Let's see some more. I've seen a couple other Andy Gilbert conversions and ther are the nuts. Clean and simple is the way I like 'em.

I love the Titlist cues. Here are a couple of the 20 I've converted. The 5th picture is a jump cue conversion.

In my signature is the link to mine- from 'junk cue' to nice player... The whole story.

Shafts are made from Tru-Balance cues, and will be done shortly. (one shaft still shows the tips of the points!)

Anyway, check it out...

titleist and elk

bigstick ordered this cue to his spects, his idea, very unusual, but i think it works. i cut the back of the cue from the handle area to the butt to .625 inch and sleeved the elk over the handle area. so the cue is still solid from the joint to the buttcap. i have more titleist i am thinking on what to do next.

John Davis Titlist Cue Blank

I haven't gotten to the design board yet, hopefully by next spring I'll have this blueprinted.
It's rare and I really didn't want to show it off, the forearm may be old growth straight grain maple and the cocobolo is unimagineable!
Sometime this winter I'll x-ray the blank then, a lab buddy will sample the wood, see you again soon :)
