We finally have action!

I watched Bartrum give a strong player a good thumping at DCC for a few bags of sand. I didn't see him miss a ball for 30 minutes. That dude has incredible focus and determination from what I could tell.

where you from??? where do you play??? I promise you this, Bartram is the best action in the country.

If I were in the pool room and had 1k to gamble I would bet all of it
on Kirkwood and Bartrum. Probably bet 700 or so on the first set just in case LJ caught a couple breaks and a gear. That would leave me a little something to keep betting with.

Even though the game is partners its shoot til you miss and that means that each hour played LJ gets no rest while K&B can split time.
10 ahead can be a long set. This might play a factor. Not to mention that
I dont think LJ can beat either with the 8 heads up.
I could be wrong but Hattiesburgs banks could be a little bit poorer.

good luck to the players and thanks for the information. Keep us up to date.

Well the Gunnslinger team is rooting for Chris "Little Bear" Bartrum.

Whatever happened to our vbucks, I'll like to wager some of that on the Little Bear Team.
have a happy day

After 2 months worth of talking about it, we have finally created some action from this forum. I know a couple of posters think this is bad for the forum, but TOO BAD!!! LilJon took me up on my offer to gamble and he is playing Cris Bartram and Jason Kirkwood tomorrow night in his hometown. Win or lose, I am just glad something finally happened! WHERE YOU AT JESSE BOWMAN????

That's great...let us know how it goes pls. The people who don't like action posts can go read the thread about what tip is the best!

Action and Chris Bartrum?

Whoever said that Chris Bartrum isn't known for his action should have seen him play at valley forge when he got up there and played an ahead set with Rodney Morris, on the bar box, for 5K....

He hated life but at least he bet it... Never known him to turn down a game.... was it the best game? ... subject to discussion but the point is he still bet it..

Ha Ha Ha Ruberto Might Get It
not going to comment on that missing money, but i will say that tony's last name is rOberto, not ruberto... makes him sound foreign the other way...

now there is good action... always firing it in with the best of them... never seen him not placing a wager....

Thanks Billychips for posting this!! Good luck! I sure hope you'll post some info on how the matches went and the results.

I was surprised when I first heard of this match up. My first thought was that Bartrum couldn't have liked it in the end but my 2nd thought was kudos to him for jumping in the box.

I'm sure Rodney had to be thrilled to be getting even action. I'd venture a guess that it's been a long time since Rodney saw even action with any frequency.
