We Lost John Disque

I liked the back and forth with him - gonna miss him. Oh well, back to the "what's the best chalk" threads :(

Sad to see a broken man. Could very well be Strickland in an advanced state.
Can't say his postings bothered me too much, but they were strenuous.

Good luck and all the help (or pool) you need to be a happy man.

Are ludes the same thing as Quaaludes? I haven't heard that term in a long while.

In deed they are, Miss Jammy. Quaalude's (methaqualone) is a synthetic barbiturate-like CNS depressant, and was popular in the 1970's. The person taking the drug was said to be "Luding out", when on the drug.
Boone's Farm, and a block of cheese were popular accompaniments.

I have read most of the threads and posts in real time and I have watched the videos. I am assuming all of this media is of the same guy because I have no desire to put forth the effort to assume differently.I have no idea what JD may have gone through in his life but it looks like he is harmless enough. I don't see the point in kicking the man when he may be struggling in certain areas. He might just be working from a different set of tools than others.

No man is bigger than the forums. He'll likely be back in some time, but smaller in stature.

AZ suffered a slipped disque....but we'll recover.

Probably from a few too many nights at the local Disque-co-tech.

Whoa, although I didnt enjoy his bold colors and "writing style" In hindsight there was no need to give that guy a hard time. Those videos are intense. Guess you never know whos behind the screen name sometimes.

It was likely a combination of things, especially once he started with the vulgarities near the end.

guess i missed those

like many others i'd like to see him return sooner, than later

he's spent many an hour on a pool table based on the shape of his upper back or he has the same condition Janette Lee is afflicted with, since corrected. He shoots through whitey cleanly and with purpose, however, he plays with outside english (too?) the vast majority of time which makes advancing to the next levels difficult, unless he just isn't displaying prowess with inside english. I'd rate him an APA 8 or 9 based on the market he's playing in.

In closing he would be a loyal, long term friend once mutual trust is established
