I've tried to be very civil. One reason I'm not able to remake the cue is my time restraints ill be moving soon and I have 2 cues left to finish before the move to restart is not a option and at this point after the customer has been so overly disrespectfull and rude after I tried my best to make it right I honestly want no further dealings with him.

Just build cues for your own satisfaction. Cues of your own designs and in your time frame. Offer them for sale when they are finished and you will be much happier. Don't take orders from people, they can see what you have available or are about ready to complete and if something strikes their fancy they will buy it.I made a cue for meridian blades he sent me the wood for this cue there's a pic of it here its done I just have to finish the shafts. As in all cues I took it to the pool room to test hit it and discovered a rattle in tthe A joint.
I informed him I canot sell you a cue that is not up to my quality standards. Said I would refund him his deposit, plus give him some nice burl wood and after I finish moving he could send me some more wood and I would make him a cue for free all to make it up to him. He had been a great customer until this.
He threatens to call the police over his wood and press charges. Unless I send the cue since the wood is his property. I will not let the cue out of the shop. And that's the end of it.
So after many harsh emails from him I've decided to send the wood back. In pieces ill be bandsawing the cue into sections tomorrow and mailing it out by Tuesday. He will have his wood and I won't have a cue in the world with a issue like this one.
Ill even post a youtube video of me cutting it into three pieces tomorrow so the world can see.
Thanks,
Trent
Also I will no longer be making cues for people only myself, its been fun but the internet is not the place for me.

Building cues is supposed to be fun and if you approach it from the standpoint as an artist does, doing what you want to do as an artist, life will be much happier I can assure you. You know, every time you complete a cue you become a richer man whether you sell the cue today or six months from now. Abe Rich told me that over 40 years ago. Taking raw materials and turning it into something of value and use is very rewarding, don't let people ruin it for you.
Customer went over the top but, we only have your word on how it transpired or how you explained it all.
His wood his money. Your rattle your mistake.
I made it. ill do as I wish.
I was thinking of sending it to him and allowing RAT or someone of that nature take it under his wing but you have to understand after 4 very rude emails and threatening letters I've lost all composure and tolerance so as he wished he will get the wood back but only the wood.
And I really couldn't care less how bad he wants it or is attached to the wood. If he had acted in a more civil manor instead of threatening me repeatedly then maybe we could have made a comprimise
